edit: as I look at it more it seems like there is too much white. Maybe add something awesome to the white.

id stay with ur current (that would b my choice)

the new one shows more skill in my point of view because it shows more of ur skills with imagination. Your current one i'm not to keep for it... Id go with the new one it looks great in my opinion :P

I would use your new one. While your current one is very good, that look is getting a bit trite in my opinion. It's not bad, just overused. The new one's text is simple so it doesn't distract from the main part of the image. Go for it! 8-)

I agree...i find the render 2 messy (Can't say what it is) and don't personaly like the way it's cut around with the white zone....still my personal opinion.

 

 

 

The text on the other hand is absolutely nice.

 

 

 

Using it on your current sig could make the trick :)

Wow, I am surprised that about half say keep the old and half go for the new (with the odd couple that said keep old and use new text ;)), usually its a definite swing in one direction :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for the render, well it is an abstract render but I don't find it messy (perhaps the size makes it look that way). The render is meant to appear like metal framing such as in construction, with a futurisic look to it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I spent a long time placing my objects in the render to get the look I wanted and then working on it in photoshop to add other elements to it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for someone mentioning that there is too much white (I was thinking about making the render a little larger on it... may still give that a try and re-post later ;)) but the overal appearance I was going for is plain, simple, not too hard on the eye.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, as for the new text on the old one... I don't think that would work well with the old image. I think it is too bright and busy (with the scan lines and all).

Increased the size of the render slightly to cover more sig surface and removed the shadow laying across the render.

Use it mate, the old one looks a bit too much like a cutout from a standard Bryce Abstract :P. No offense, of course, your skills own all, but I just thought I'd say lol. New one fo' sho'.
