Finished my blue dragon task; my God that was dire D: I NEVER want to do that again, so ima perma block them. Anyways I did a few more tasks and now have 235 Daggonoths to kill. Just wondering if I should try soloing DK's once or twice for some nice kills, as Agodlessone suggested it, and it sounds easy enough methinks. So people any stats, levels, items, things, etc I need/want to do it? And I highly doubt I'll solo them 235 times, so if there's no feasible way it'll be cannoning and hopefully get to about 30K from 74 range.

Unless you can get a trio team going, I wouldn't recommend attempting to tribrid, and you wouldn't be able to efficiently melee Supreme.

 

If you've got a hexcrest and you mage, you could easily slaughter Rex. Even without that, with Claws of Guthix, solo'ing is quite enjoyable and you can't beat that slayer exp based on HP.

From what Joe said in his topic about tribriding, it sounds like the Hexcrest doesn't really help that much.

 

I suggest to try and solo mage rex. It is really easym just look at the monster hunting guide on tip.it. Guthans let you stay longer, veracs gives better prayer bonus.

Solo maging Rex is amazing, heck, here's my adventures log from today killing rex. I got 90 kills in.

 

 

Admited this was a slightly above average trip in terms of money, but it's actually uncommon to go 50+ kills with no drops.

 

I found the Monster Hunting guide for DKs here on Tipit to be a VERY good setup for maging rex, using unicorns, I last around 4-5 hours before I need to leave.

lol, that sucks. Out of 360 rex kills, I've gotten 5 zerkers, 2 warriors and 2 Hatchets, so I'm at 40 killers per item :P

I toyed with a few setups on my task (about 130 to go now out of 220).

Theres a bug with hexcrest not giving extra damage for me there. Could be against rex, could be void mace or could be claws of guthix. I plan to test it using another 10% weapon with earth surge tonight.

 

Solo hybriding would be pretty damn terrible with your stats.

With 86 range, range potions, eagle eye and full slayer helm prime still took a bit long to kill so 73 range would be slow.

You could possibly kill supreme quick enough with balmung, supers and a spec weapon.

 

Rex is easy, but due to the money involved now its a bit hit and miss finding a world.

Personally I've been lucky and always taken precautions (enough prayer to last a few kills with prime you with mystic might and 2 magic potions) and can anti-crash all but 2 god spellers (well if the full helm actually worked with cog I would have been ok).

 

I had some bad luck last night away this is my rex kills so far into my task

 

I killed 25 Dagannoth Rexes.

Leveled up Magic.

I killed 18 Dagannoth Rexes.

I killed Dagannoth Rex.

Item found: a berserker ring

I killed 26 Dagannoth Rexes.
