pulli23
Well I have a new task for slayer: bloodvelds.. My question is: how to defeat them? I'm currently pretty broke, so searching for a method which doesn't require money (and preferably makes the biggest amount of charms/hour), thus cannoning is out of the options. - I have to defeat 232 of them :/. There are a few things I can do: normal ones with melee (prayer boosting gear).. Or mutated ones with melee + prayer (profitable?).. Or mutated ones with ranged (slooooow).. Maybe there is a better option? First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. glasscube
If you have a bunyip you just need black hides. Otherwise food and black hides will do fine. Help drive change Canada

jijilentosmi
If you have a bunyip you just need black hides. Otherwise food and black hides will do fine. There are quite a few safe spots. You just want to maximize range bonus and focus on that, also I'd using Bronze or Iron knives if you can get your hands on some.
Vulxai
If you're broke, there isn't much you can do to make them fun, so you'll just have to power through them. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
squidsquash
Block them if you have the points, trust me. This is a task where you will spend lots of time and if your magic level is low you will lose lots of food, and get no rewarding drops.

These ARE decent xp. They are pretty decent experience because of their high HP. Help drive change Canada
squidsquash
I've heard mutated velds are cannonable, I guess if you have no space to block these you should do some quests to be able to cannon them.
Cptbaker08
They're great if you cannon them. You can cannon either the Mutate or the regular ones near the blood altar. If you don't cannon they are some what annoying and take longer to kill. You can use a familiar to help kill them when in the multi combat zone. You can also safe spot them or tank then.
