I fail to see how creating an army of golems is anything like dungeoneering. Golems appear in pretty much every RPG game out there, too. What if a new player joins and I just smash them with my regular minions? It's the same basic process.

 

I like constructs better than outsiders <_<

 

Ares uses the iron to create 10 more golems, before sending them to raze another settlement, and loot it, and bring back the prisoners.

Grim asks the hunting party to join him. If they refuse he attacks with light magic before having his minions attack.

Ares attempts to create a golem shell which is controlled from the inside by a minion, who cannot be removed in any way.

 

Ares sets the golems on the next settlement. He sends out a small team of minions to scout the large city.

(13) Ross: you do so, but is impractical, as minions are only good for that if they are of oficer material. the scouts find the place is guarded by many foes.. Scathe " master, i have deciphered the map that leads to the smelter. you would do well to go there" Your golems bring in 20 more prisoners ( you have 90 prisoners, waiting for you. you can only hold 100 prisoners in your cells. i suggest doing somthing about them)

Ares turns 50 of the prisoners into smith minions, and the other 40 into regulars, who will build a very large underground chamber with forging equipment in.

15 golems go to retrieve the smelting hive.

The mindslaves will go and gather more metal.

ross, the smelter aint a hive, its an object. it is the basic iron one, but usefull all the same.

Jen asks the top fifty elves to fight amongst themselves with sticks (so that they don't kill each other) until ten are victorious. They will become Jen's bodyguard. Meanwhile, she asks the elves if they also can carry minions, which would increase her minion limit to...a thousand?

 

Jen sacrifices ten elves and summons ten red minions.

 

 

After this, Jen returns to her dwarves and asks them to forge short spears for the elves. Then, she sets out with her twenty steel golem army, 100 dwarves, 100 elves with spears (the spears made before), her eight elven generals, her ten elf body guard, and her armor plated demon bear to find some towns to takeover.

(19) Grim: you easily convince the remaining guards to join you. you gain the hive, and three objects ( minion, mana, health) and another of your choice. you need three life fore orbs to get the lecture

(17) Ross: you do so, and your men go to get the smelter. they meet with fierce resitance, but win, at the losw of a golem. you gain 3 objects of your choice. also, you mine 50 bars of pure iron, and 20 gems.

(20) Retech: you gain extremley well trained body guards. ( you cannot have 1 thousand minions yet, only 8 generals) you also can also find 3 objects within the hive area. you now have elves, dwarves, and humans in your army. Bob " reds are quite the pyromaniacs sire. they can throw fireballs, and provide heat for forgin enterprises. they can also soak of flames. but they are the weakest in health of all minion types. be sure to keep them safe."

Jen finds two mana objects and one health object within the hive area.

 

 

 

 

 

Jen and her army ride out for the largest town in the area, the one which I believe killed her family. In her army, there are 100 elven spearmen, 100 dwarven axemen, 30 human soldiers, twenty golems, sixty browns, ten red minions, and her armored command center (her demon bear). Ontop of her armored demon bear is an outpost, where Jen, her ten bodyguards, and the pyromaniac minions stand.

 

When she reaches the largest town, she demands that it surrender to her forces, or prepare to be destroyed.

Ares chooses 3 mana upgrades.

 

He then instructs the minions to begin construction of a golem body which is several stories tall, making sure they leave a space in the chest area for Ares to control it from.

When they finish, gems will be embedded into it, 7 into physical defense, 8 into regeneration, 7 into magical resistance. The golems and slaves all search for more iron to continue building the goliath.

well, this is more fun than expected. i thought it would have taken someone the weekend, at least, to find out how to get a town to surrender

(19) Retech: the town gives yo its unconditional surrender, and tells you of a heabily giarded citadel in the vicinity. you cannot take this without gaining more minion hives.

(9) Ross: the golem body projec is botched horribly, and must be restarted again. the iron to make it, however, is plentifull.

Ares orders the smiths to continue until they get it right.
