Jen rounds up 700 or so civilians of the town (the town is big, right?) and brings them back to her lair. They are set to work farming and building a community there, hopefully making it an industrial center. Meanwhile, the 100 elves at the lair begin trying to magically create a massive tree, hopefully towering a hundred feet into the air. They try to make it strong and infuse it with the gems they have collected so far, making its roots strong, its trunk strong, and its branches thick.

 

After that, if it's possible, five hundred of the civilians are slaughtered and their life energy is put into the tree, hopefully allowing it to become a very powerful ent. The ent will be cared for by ten of these elves, who will be its caregivers.

 

Meanwhile, Jen has developed a design for the tank. It will be powered magically, and the ammo will be created on the spot by a mage, before being fired out using force magic. She passes it along to the smiths, who fix the design up and begin construction of the tank.

 

Jen's army begins constructing trebuchets (large siege weapons) outside the citadel and start loading them with massive ice balls several yards in radius that Jen makes, before having them fired at the citadel.

fine. but you still need more minion hives before you can get clsoe to the citadel. btb, all you need to do to make the ent is to put the gems into the tree, the mass sacrifice will make it stronger yess, but not needed. btb, the embeded gems can be changed, so the ent can throw fire or somthing. ill figure it out.

(17- 2 = 15 i did 4 rolls.) tis will take 5 actions.

(16 - 1 = 15) the tree is grown, the crystals emmbeded, but the elvs hesitate in sacrificing the towns people (the town is that big,m there is a hive here, or smelter if you prefer, and 6 minion objects. when you find one i decide what it is.)

It's just that you forgot a few things about the tank and stuff. About your post, does that mean that I will eventually have a hundred-two hundred foot freakishly strong ent with magical powers? :D

yeah... decide whether ot not to sacrifice the people. also, refresh the page every once in a while. that way you know if i have posted or not.

Jen asks Bob if sacrificing the people will benefit the ent. If it does, then Jen tells that the elves can either sacrifice the people or sacrifice some of themselves. They are told that since elves are stronger than humans, they wouuld have to choose amongst themselves on who to sacrifice, if they don't sacrifice the people when Bob says it will benefit the ent. She also asks Bob if the ent can walk.

[Earth]

yes, yes, and yes.

(15) the ent greatly benefits from the sacrifice of 500 people. Bob " there is one thing you should know master, before putting the ritual on the ent. if you put gems on the hands, it will change what the ent can attack with. if you put a gem in the head, it will change its colour, and other bilities. also, you must have a gem in the head or the creature will not obey you. if you put gems in the body, it will effect the armour of the ent. tell me if you wish to know more."

Jen puts a gem in the ents head, hopefully not changing its color. She also puts a gem to make it resistant to fire in its body. Then the ent is sent to the outskirts of the citadel with the trebuchets, where it is given the task of lobbing several ton boulders at the citadel. (Does this do any damage?) The trebuchets fire smaller rocks at the citadel, though still large.

 

Meanwhile, Jen sends five minions to search for more minion hives.

retech, you havnt lsitened to bob.. you have 17 gems. do you want to know what the gems can do to the ents abilities? ( you dont have to hagne its colour, and you havnt done the ritual yet.

[Retech]

I thought you just said that the ent benefited greatly from the ritual. Anywho, Jen asks more about the different kinds of gems she has.

Ares sends his slaves to mine more gems, meanwhile, the minions begin painting the Dark Engine black with crimson trim. He turns 10 brown minions into smiths and orders them to create a flail which the engine can use.

[Earth]

no, the tree did, which in turn helps the ent. now listen closely

Bob" with the gems in its hands, the great ent can throw many things. he can throw firey explosives, plain fire, magic soul stealers, water orbs that will drown things, poison bombs, bee nests, boulders, and spikes. the enchancment ritual you have done, by sacrifice, has greatly increased the ammount of damage these attacks will do. armor, with gems, will increase an ents toughness to physical damage, and magical damage. the rd gems will alow fire to spurt from wounds, and green will repair wounds over time. use your gems wisley though, or every 3 gems you place, you must place another in the ents head, or you will loose control."

(16) Ross: the flail is greatly crafted, but you realise, even with the 5 other gems you find, you need more gems to power the beast... same deal with the ent, machine boy, other than the fact it can use its mele weapon with magic enhancments.

[Retech]

Jen places a water orb gem, a bee nest gem, and a boulder gem in the ent's hands. She puts nine more in its body, three for physical armor, three for magical armor, and three greens for repair wounds. Then she puts four more gems in the ent's head, to control it. Does that work?

 

Afterwards, the ent starts lobbing boulders at the citadel. Jen wonders if she could just wait and have the citadel destroyed by nightfall.

Ares sends the forces which aren't preoccupied with making the engine to mine for gems.

[Earth]

yeah, thought you wouldve liked the soul sucking ability more though, brings them back as undead souls, under yur ents control, so therefore, under your control. now you must do a ritual to start the ent up. lemme roll on it.

(15)Retech: you do the ritual succesfully, but need to rest a bi before ordering the ent.

Karl takes his special mineral to be examined at the smith hive he and the guards scout around (I will take the upgrade in minions if you will) for a way to get some life orbs.

[Earth]

Ross: (13) you manage to find 10 more gems, but this will not power the engine. you need a difrent power source.. perhaps the special metal...

[Retech]

Jen sends scouts to try and find more minion hives. The goal is to find more than one group of minion hives, so she can hit them in a row.

 

 

Jen also asks her smiths how the tank progress is coming along.

[Earth]

Grim: 20!!! you find that an uber power has come over your minions as soon as they touch this particular sample. they tell you it is a power metal. this one is a particularly strong one. will give you a plus 5 to smithing rolls if given to 5 smiths.

[Earth]

Retech: 13) the progress goes slowly, but good news! the minions have found the location of the miners hive. that, and a stockpile of 20 gems!

[Grim_]

Grim gives the metal to five smiths. He then brings half of his gnomes over to the smithing hive and has them mine the area around it. (did I get any females? Also how many smiths do I have from this hive?) The other half stay mining the power metal and the coal.

Ares tells his minions to dig deeper, looking for a new power source. He tells them to collect any gems they find on the way.
