My_Eggs
If I were to go and train on the monsters in the tunnels for a while, would I get a lot of runes for having a kill count of like 300+? Basically I guess what I'm asking is, if you keep killing the monsters, does the amount of runes in the chest keep growing and growing, or is there a point where you don't get more? Like could you get over a thousand bloods from the chest? Thanks. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Codguy
Just to further confirm, after about 20 kc, you won't see any benefit. So only train there if you really want to train on those monsters... For some reason.
My_Eggs
Well damn, that ruins my plans. I was hoping to get some runes while taking a break from slayer that way when I go back to slayer I could mage some tasks. Oh well, thanks guys. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Aiel
its not a bad training spot actually, you can use a salve on the skeletons and get like 75k xp per hour DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). blakdragon39
My understanding of barrows drops is this: While you are in the tunnels and killing things (anytime before you open the chest) all drops you WOULD have gotten go right into the chest. So it seems to me that if you kill 300+ plus monsters, you'll get 300+ monsters worth of rune drops. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that was how it worked. schmuall
If your doing speed runs anything over 15 kc is a waste of time. Aim for 12/13. He's not doing speed runs, he's contemplating training on the monsters. OT: It's really not worth it. I've watched quite a few 10k kc at barrows vids and the loot is always pathetic (somone pc'd it and it turned out to be about 130k in runes + bolt racks). give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
