If you wear desert top+bottom+boots does it completely neglect the effect of desert heat?

No, but you won't need to drink as often.

I'd wear charged water tiara+varrock armor.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Agreed, or bring waterskins and lots of humidify casts; if you only have 3 empty spaces left then you can do the drop three method (There's a guide in the General Guides that explains it very well).

using a yak is really nice there too if your one of the like 2348973294 people who got 96 summoning on the weekend. Went there to get the mining level i was pretty clsoe to and made like 500k in the hour i was there from using scrolls on the 5kg stuff and dropping the rest

Don't bring Varrock armor unless you're banking. It'll just give you extra blocks to drop but no xp.

Wrong, you get xp for each ore even both the double ones.

I can confirm that the double ore that you get from the Varrock armor gives you experience. I happen to be mining Granite right now and received xp for both pieces.

Wear the varrock top for the occasional 2x mine, wear Desert skirt and boots, and take an EE. It only takes one spot and is completely free to use.

With desert robes you will take a sip of water every 2 minutes, with your normal clothes you will take a sip every 90 seconds, and in armor you will take a sip every 45 seconds.

Use a water tiara if you have one. so you can fill your inventory with familiars and summoning potions.

Lava titans are better than a yak at granite, because the yak can't make you drop any faster, but the titan can make you mine faster.

If you need any more info, talk to me in-game or look at my guide.

wouldnt banking 500k worth of granite an hour (even if it is junk) be better then an extra k or 2 of xp?
