And now I feel as if I'm in over my head. I was trying to trim some of it off so that I (And everyone else) could understand it.

 

Honestly though? I think you'd be a far better GM than I could.

 

 

Earth, that really is the full thing, counting specialization and everything, and all the skills are listed with their respective modifiers (Although the modifiers are set out in a way that nobody on earth could understand them, because that's how that character generator does it for some reason)

 

As for spells, I'll grab the level 0 spells and post them here.

 

I took the liberty of removing Necro and Transmutation spells.

They increase your roll by whatever level they are...So...

 

Concentration

Based off of Constitution, so +3

With 4 levels in skill points, so +4

So +7 overall....

 

 

So if I need 16 to stay concentrating on casting a spell, I only need to roll a 9, rather than needing to roll a 13...

Try using that. You just need to follow the arrows, basically....Then copy and paste it(The generated report, not the page itself) into a word document, save it or export it as a PDF...Though you will need to fill in the languages seperately.

The problem with that generator up there is that it sets the skill ranks out in a really bad way and makes it confusing.

Actually, I was looking to avoid specialization, but it's actually a lot simpler than I remember it to be.

 

There is basically a grid, and if you specialise in one field, you lose out in a few others.

 

 

Also, I'm going to rework the template to make sure nothing is left out (Race bonuses and penalties, number of spells, specialization etc.)

Okay Grim, I think I can handle the spell domains.

 

Basically, you pick a domain, and at each new spell level above zero, you can pick one spell from that domain along with the spell you would normally get.

 

On another note, I'm redesigning the template to include skills and other things I missed, so don't be surprised if your current one requires some modification.

New template is up. I think you'll find a lot easier to follow, as it has more detailed instructions, as well as a fair amount of corrections.

Retech-

You will be given your choice of basic weapon when the first game begins.

 

As for spells, yeah, that's exactly how it works. You get three level 0 spells at first level, and one level 1 spell (Spells per day/rest, depending on if we do more than 1 session per day, which is unlikely, to say the least)

 

Your ability scores are over by about 10 points I think. Gotta remember that 18-20 alone costs 8 points.

 

Also, don't worry, you get an extra point to put into stats every few levels, in case you were worried about not being able to cast level 9 spells.

 

Other than those few corrections, It's pretty good.

 

Earth-

Jeez, just copy and paste the template, altering when necessary. And all of the skills need to be there. Just copy and paste some of the information from the website.

Seriously, just follow the instructions, I made them as straightforward as I possibly could.
