L0rdAki
How exactly does turmoil work? Does it instantly boost up to the max stats when you start fighting? Does it increase over time? I'm a little confused :S Does the same work with Leech/Sap curses? Can someone help me out? Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff. Grimy_Bunyip
other than that it might be useful to know that the turmoil bonus is additive and multiplicative if your turmoil boost is 23 + 9 = 32%and lets say you have 99 strengththen turmoil will boost it by (99+9)*1.23as opposed to 99*1.

Also, let's say you're maging and you want to KO someone and switch to claws. - Case 1: You were using mage prayers as you were maging, switch to turmoil, and claw spec.- Case 2: You were using turmoil as you were maging, switch to claws and spec. What would be the turmoil boost in each case? Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? 3hitm4g3u
Using turmoil without being in combat gives you +15% att,def and +23% str. Then when you enter combat you get 15% of your opponents att/str up to a maximum of 14 levels each and +10% of your opponents strength level up to a maximum of 9 levels (which is why at maxed you only get +29% att/def instead of +30% att/def). See the avatar for demonstration on correct hand placement.
la la la
Turmoil only gives you the percent of your opponent's strength/attk/defence AFTER the first hit, so it takes effect on the second hit. This makes flashing slightly less effective.

This makes flashing slightly less effective.dude that's so disappointing. so it's pretty much only useful for melee-only bosses, non-hybrid pvp, and slaying.
