Goldenjkered
Ok, so I have 33 mil to spend on slayer gear (I already have Slayer Helm, Whip, Dragon Boots, Defender, Barrows Gloves etc), what would you recommend? I normally use fighter torso with torags legs, but I fancied a change. Also, would you recommend Karils or a Fury? Mischlings
Any barrows platebody, Verac's skirt, Karil's top and bottom, Zamorakian Spear, soul wars cape/fire cape. Buying a fury right now would be a little difficult, so it might be best to buy a glory and use it until it comes to some equilibrium price. Also, if you're willing to pay for faster slayer xp, then use proselyte plate with Verac's skirt and piety most of your tasks. EDIT: Can't believe that I forgot this, but buy a cannon and thousands of cannonballs. They will speed up your xp so much that it's ridiculous -- Dagannoth tasks take about 15 minutes while still getting ~20k slayer xp, to name just one example. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

It has a +12 prayer bonus which helps to piety tasks. Zephy
Equipment-wise, there's not much that would give you a huge difference any more. A set of melee barrows would probably be the biggest change for you. (Bandos is okay too, if you're into that sorta thing. Overpriced and not nearly as good defensively, but less annoying.) It doesn't matter so much which ones, unless you want Guthan for healing (nowadays considered slow) or Verac's/Dharok's for their respective effects (not as commonly used by most slayers). I'm hesitant to recommend cannon now that masses of people have taken up cannoning green dragons. It used to be pretty reasonably priced range exp alone, but now it gets quite expensive quite fast. Karil's is good. It's significantly better versus magic than black dragonhide. You don't get all that much use out of it, though, and the prices are kinda off-putting. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.
ghjkl
I always use proselyte on every task that I melee in a single combat zone, to save prayer on piety, but if you aren't into that kind of stuff then I would just use dragon/bandos, or even rune. Most slayer monsters can't hit at all.

Ezkaton
Took this from another topic I posted it in, cut out a bit of the crap that was intensive to that thread, however this was my reply: Anyways I'll just post what I personally think is a slayers must have kit. Full Slayer Helm/Slayer HelmTorag body/Barrow melee and Karils top and Proselyte topVerac Skirt/Torag leg/Barrow melee and Proselyte legsDragon BootsBarrow GlovesFury/GloryFire Cape/SW Cape/Skill Cape (t)/Skill Cape/Obby Cape/Ardy Cape (you're wearing ardy so that begs the question whether or not you're pietying every task)WhipDefenderSS/ZSRoL/Warrior/Zerker/Dragonstone (i)/Onyx (i)/Warrior (i)/Zerker (i) CannonCannon BallsPotions like super attacks, strengths, and maybe defences, and prayer potsBunyip Pouches and scrolls.Pile of monkfish. From there on you *should* make a profit even pietying and cannoning everything you can. A good piety setup would be prosy top with v skirt which will allow for defence and only 1 less prayer bonus than the prosy legs and top combo. I may add to this list, but that's all I can think of atm. 79 summoning and 80 prayer IMO wont make you slay more effectively. I still use a bunyip at times at 90 summon and have yet to use a titan of any sorts, so stick with the yip. That little green smelly lizard is perhaps THE best summoning familiar out there regardless of what people say about ponies. meb
Ponies are for mithril dragons and boss hunting^^ I too use bunyips everywhere I go (to slay). Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. For time is money afterall. And they're a nice quick task. Cut out the "they hit too hard" with a simple prayer :P Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
