I got my first 99 skill some time ago, but havn't really focussed on a specific skill - as of yet. I am now looking to add that "trim color" to my Smithing Cape and am just curious as to which skill would be the easiest/ quickest one to get 99 with. Current stats are in sig.

From 94-99:

Sharks: 350k profit, 20 hours

Wine: 7.5m loss, 11 hours.

 

You save 9 hours for 7.8m, requiring an income of just over 800k.

 

Wines are even better below 94, too.

@lalala making wines is ~1.5 gp/xp which is pretty cheap :s (multiquote wasnt working)

At what levels can you start to make wines efficiently? Does it ever fail? Sorry, I'm completely unfamiliar with the process. Judging from those rates, I'm guessing you can expect to pay 16m to spend about 25 hours getting 99 cooking from 70, or thereabouts?

Don't get an eaasy cape just to trim, it's such a waste of time. Get something like mining.

At 80 I never failed, and I don't think I failed at 70 either, but this was a long time ago.

I'd say Mining, Mage or Defence.

I agree with evil, unless you're dying for a trim on your cape... why waste the trim on something easy like cooking, its so predictible. Try for something a little harder.

Plus, untrimmed skillcapes = ftw :mrgreen:

Well, Smithing took a lot of money, and a lot of time. So that is why I am looking for something easy. I might do mining or something like that. Prayer would be nice.

 

Could sell off my Santa and Bandos equips and just power level prayer like crazy :unsure:
