IQ, in my opinion, is one of the most flawed ways to measure intelligence. To put it simply it doesn't measure all types of intelligence; it only measures "book" intelligence. And I'll be honest, some of the people who have a 'genius' IQ aren't exactly brimming with common sense.

 

Engineers are a perfect example of this.

Actually, most real IQ tests (i.e. the ones that you pay money for and take at universities) don't measure book learning at all. They measure verbal intelligence (in your native language), mathematical ability, spatial reasoning skills, visual/perceptual skills, classification skills, logical reasoning skills, and pattern recognition skills. Almost none of those are "book learned" (besides the math). Many of the best IQ tests don't include mathematics, in case the person they're testing never received a proper background in math or has a mathematical learning disability.

Online IQ tests aren't a really good way of measuring your IQ. And why would you bother knowing it anyway, other than the curiosity? :rolleyes:

It's kind of hard to accept the validity of a test that gives you like 30 pages of spam when you finish it. But it was fun, at any rate. Aside from the spam, I mean.

Couldn't care less if it isn't accurate. Probably says something that in wading through all the spam I remembered the psychology behind barraging you with ads like that.

The math was the killer. I fail at math :cry:
