archimage_a
And whats more annoying is those damn traitor Americans who fought the war of independace. Every revolution evaporates and leaves behind only the slime of a new bureaucracy. America grew up. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Archimage, with my area and funding 1 trillion into infastructure how much is my IAG?
a_bert
This is key to how IAG works and is balanced: It's your percentage that counts, not the actual value of your investment. 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!
archimage_a
Ok...So you an IAG of 1,252,298,000,000...Now 1 trillion is 79%. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
a_bert
An interesting factor; Since that IAG is from the starting of the game where Hex owned all of china, surely that money spent on infrastructure would have been divded somewhat equally on all of Hex's cities? Therefore, ALL the cities in 2010 China benefit from his cashcow, yet he still receives the same %IAG increase anyway. wat do? 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I! VEGHATERMEATLOVER
So whats my new IAG?
archimage_a
Since that IAG is from the starting of the game where Hex owned all of china, surely that money spent on infrastructure would have been divded somewhat equally on all of Hex's cities? Therefore, ALL the cities in 2010 China benefit from his cashcow, yet he still receives the same %IAG increase anyway. Well, the best way to do it would be subtract his 55% of his IAG because of cities being taking over and then increase his Infrastructure by 1.75. Since that is proprotionately accurate. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts. archimage_a
Ok...So you an IAG of 1,252,298,000,000...Now 1 trillion is 79%. You would have an infrastructure of 1.09 so it would be 1,365,004,820,000. Though I am inclined to use the other method, unless people have a problem with it....its more complicated so... http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Seraphi
Wait, I'm confused. Has Hex actually lost any money at all from our invasion? Or can things like that be countered by instantly diverting funds to infrastructure without taking any penalty to research time.
archimage_a
Didn't I say that Infrastructure was worked out after IAG to prevent this sort of thing from happening? If so then it should be 375,689,400,000 and then he would have an infrastructure of 1.09 http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
The_Mather1
IAG only changes each tenth year. Twitter: @TheMather1
Seraphi
Okay, I think I get it now. Are there any research penalties from diverting 70% of AIG into infrastructure though? Otherwise declaring war doesn't really do anything, since any damage done can be countered by shuffling some funding into infrastructure, right? archimage_a
Yeah, there was a hole in the system. We can fix that in two ways: Subtract his 55% of his IAG because of cities being taking over and then increase his Infrastructure by 1.75. Since that is proprotionately accurate. Infrastructure is worked out after IAG , thus it would be 375,689,400,000 and then he would have an infrastructure of 1.09 http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Seraphi
Aaaah, I get it now. I'd vote for the second system. The first seems too lenient on people who lose a war.

Seraphi
Not really Mather. Nukes are allowed in this game. Half the people in the thread are probably building secret nukes. Just got to have some good countermeasures. It's cool.
The_Mather1
I mean since you took his finished ones away. You don't really want him to have the capabillity of building more, do you? VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Lol Ross, you've already got your 50 metre deep tungsten Walls with guns and plasma windows and whtever else lol.But yeh, Mather. Seriously.I was asking you to please be helpful and you posted information spitefully which to be honest is pretty pathetic. Now, I actually think we should go back to our old GDP system because that was fair and a lot easier to work out. GDP was good because it didn't mean we just went buidlings and weapons, we actually had a bit of a complex economy going, it didn't have a single hole in it either. And large countryside like America, India or China couldn't benefit due to having mainly farming and other crappy jobs. Does anyone agree? Also, people do work not buildings.
