GDP is fairer. How is something worked out by an unbiased moderator fairer if its worked one way or another?

because infastructure can be deterioted in seconds, and due to the system bieng wrong Japan and America can pretty much do whatever. Also your statement below contradicts this

How is GDP easier to calculate? You have to estimate the effects of your improvements to infrastructure, you don't have definitive numbers.

people x Money people earn

Realism. Yeah. Cause China would totally tell Iran IRL to let them put some nukes in their cities of they'd blow them up. Everything in this game is sure realistic!

buidlings don't make money IRL and using blackmail to try and create a puppet nation isn't unreal[, I'd you want unrealism I start research on an improbabilty machine

Yup, anyway, its not realism, its what people want. In the real world if America invaded China then China would nuke America and it would be the end of days.

If Greece invaded Albania then the whole of the EU would have freaked out.

The game is realism, so far as it doesn't mess with gameplay.

Albania isn't part of the EU though. But yes.

btw next chapter is up dungeonal, if you're still reading it. Fairly dull, just some spats with Bohemia.

yeah, i mean, if someone has to spend months killing people it makes it fairer

Perhaps you should look up the definition of fair

Ok, firstly, IAG = original IAG * 1.(% of budget spent on infrastructure).

Secondly, you COMPLETELY missed the point.

you heard it here first guys: China (for example) often threatens to nuke countries if they don't become a puppet nation. furthermore, all the worlds industrial action now takes place in mud huts, on top of mountains. all cities dissolved

edit: of course I am, BRB GUYS BUSY

edit: wee, enjoyed it again Dusty, thank you for the update - what are your plans for the Golden Horde? Subotai gonna nail you :P

@Trol, yeah ok, all the same :P GDP goes down as well.

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

not quite, its Original IAG + 1.(% of budget spent)

However, when you're under 1,its *.xx

Hex I think it would be bad for you to try to gain mongolia (check their nominal GDP)

EDIT: Hex is that not the attitude that got you into being attacked in the first place?

Greece-Russia invades Turkey.

Greece attacked with a force of 540,000 in the south, making an amphibious landing and 80,000 in the north, trying to take Istanbul.

The attack intially looked like it would succeed, with the naval landings being completed without any resistance, and meeting only light resistance in the south. However the Northern attack met a force of some 300,000 troops, and was ambushed as they attempted to retreat, decimating the army entirely, around 100,000 troops then advanced into Greece and took control of the first city they came to before feeling the pinch of supply lines.

The Russian landings told much the same tale, with no real resistance being felt.

Greece Cost of Attack: 55,800,000,000

Treasury: 56,258,000,000

Infrastructure: 1

Russian Cost of Attack: 28,216,000,000

Treasury: 231,493,000,000

Infrastructure: 1

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

You have a bigger military, but yours are armed poorly, and demoralized from all your recent military losses. Also, mine are fortified, and i have 10,000 snipers ready to pick off your troops. They carry 100 ammo each, and rarely miss. Just sayin

We are also spending the remaining 2 billion dollars of our budget on a propaganda campaign aimed at all neighboring countries.

No there not, there about 80 billion pounds armed and moralized by the fact that they can get back the stuff they lost.

Posieden you can either go by the peaceful way (10 years and 50% loss of infrastructure) or the warlike way (unknown years and cost of soldiers as well as a greater loss of infrastructure)

It's time to work out what I'm actually doing (I'm constantly changing really :D)

Okay IAG = 457,377,000,000

Infrastructure = 50% of budget

228,688,500,000

Research

Botnet - 0/5 - Cost: 25 Billion.

ARSS - 1/5 - Cost 25 Billion.

Deep Earth Mining - 1/20 - Cost 30 Billion

Total cost of research - 80 Billion

Total left = 148,688,500,000

And now DRUMROLL PLEASE. Introducing the Grand University of India!

Total Cost = 3,000,000,000,000 :P

Now this should only take 15 years of building, but due to my low budget compared ot its cost, I have decided to start development, I'm going to increase time to 30 years, if thats ok with Archi.

I'm thinking after I finish some techs, it will loosen the budget and allow me to increase payment into it, hopefully decreasing times.

If anyone thinks about joining this product, and sharing the costs with me, I will gladly share technology with people who do actually join.

GUoI = 0/30 :)

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

So er, why is there a nation in Africa with no cities? :P

Also, why no infrastructure consequence to the invasion of Turkey?

Dusty lost the .1 he gained earlier.

Since most of the fighting took place between Instanbul and the Greek city(due to amassed forces there) there was little damage to infrastructure.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Just a note to people the 'Grand University' gives the city that builds it a boost to all research projects.

Its a 1 of a kind building, like a Civ wonder. Anyone can start it, but the first person to finish gets all the benefits.

It takes 15 years, but for each person who joins you it takes 2 less years.

Only the city it is based in gets the advantage(Extra research skill)

It costs 3 Trillion, but every extra trillion spent takes 2 years off too.

Building as a team is recommended, since teams can help each other with other wonders, when they come up.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
