Hegemony

Dusty, calling Sarcasm logic doesn't make it so...

The whole point was that it was a ludicrous suggestion modelled on Retech's own. You saying 'no, that's stupid' to me means you're saying it to Retech as well.

Dusty, maybe Retech has bunkers or something there

He had everything in his two biodomes or else they wouldn't be able to breathe. This is what I was informed of.

That is correct Dusty. Then when they were fiddling with gamebreakium, they were teleported to the moon.

Dusty, I know you and I are never going to agree. Hence why I have stopped trying.

I have the power, you have none. If you want a sensible argument then I am sure I can give you one, but since your arguments don't regard any of the basic rules of the game as true, then your argument is, by definition, non-sensical...

Something like arguing with someone who you are playing chess against that, in the real world, horses don't move in L shapes and jump over people.....The game has rules, if you arn't sure, you ask me, if you disagree you try to convince me, if you fail then you accept the decision or have acceptance forced on you....or you leave.

There is no choice which gives you the result you are looking for...at best your attempt to humilitate me and succeed. I then carry on as normal, except I feel bad for being being humilated while trying to do something I find fun, killing the fun for me.

Whatever you decide I will do the same job, I will react based on the facts, my own sense of arbitration and finally, by the wishes of the players.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

So we're allowed to teleport people to the moon instantly?

You could've told me this before, would've been a lot less expensive to just teleport 200,000 troops there and take over the bio-domes instead of nuking them.

Dusty, Retech rules the moon his people are already there.

Idiot statement.

Retech has 1 base on the moon that was teleported in a freak accident, which was stated at the time, to be unrepeatable.

How you translate into 'Retech Rules the Moon' is quite frankly beyond me.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Before I nuked them all, yes.

So wait...I go through all the trouble of eliminating him from the moon, and then you just decide to teleport him another base up there? Wtf..

Dusty, it's basically cause we voted people can restart in space under special circumstances, and I think quitting cause your parents banned you then losing your land then coming back is pretty darn special.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Before I nuked them all, yes.

Basically I have a little negligible thing on the moon which allows me to be on the moon, without really giving me anything else. I guess you can compare it as my land, without my cities.

I don't. I just think Dusty should read things carefully, rather than glossing over things.

I did. He came back, I nuked him...then he gets to come back again in the exact same place?

He came back with a base, built two more, you nuked the two that were actually cities, not just an outpost.

Its like having a beachead....

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Just let me wipe him out and quit throwing arbitrary wrenches into it simply because you don't want him gone.

Wiping him out generally doesn't mean 'leave some of his stuff behind for giggles'

I sent you the map, you said you wanted to bomb his two cities/biodomes/whatevers. You did.

Its not my job to help you or to hinder you, it is my job to act on instructions and give you what you ask for.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

You said 'the map is on the front page'. It had two dots on it.

Him having a little outpost with a dozen people just prevents him from starting again on Earth, where I was prepared to give him a fair chunk of my land to get him started again.

Not until the war is over though.

And this was the original plan (since Grim stated he had no qualms giving Retech back everything except for Quebec):

I would've kept Texas before...but since it's not as useful as I previously imagined (again, thanks Arch)...

But we'll see after the war, since I might not have that land to give anyways.

What's wrong with me having some dominion over the moon? I was quite satisfied there, and I was finally having some fun again.

Because you had a 50 year headstart on space.

I never really got this.

Grim can colonise the moon now... Ico can colonise the moon now...Its hardly 50 years ahead....Especially when Retech can't get off the moon...

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Because you had a 50 year headstart on space.

Okay, well first of all, I had a headstart on the moon. At most I could've build four biodomes, by which time Grim and whatever other super wealthy power would've landed anyways, and build four in a single decade. Really, not much of an advantage.

A headstart and a 50 billion IAG compared to four trillion IAG and a continent and a half of land? I think I would take the latter any time, but obviously I didn't have that choice, because the IAG for the land was eliminated.

Mars is the target for the Indian space program

The moon just doesn't cut it, though I'll probably put a biodome down for teh lulz.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I wasn't comparing him to Grim and Icu.

Washington was nuked, the rest of the country was fine.

And yes, you did have that option but opted for the moon.

Oh right, he has a 20 year head start on you, but you don't think you will have conquered the world by 3 decades time, so you won't start till then.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I did not have that option, because not everyone was willing to give their land back, because they've had for ten years or whatever the time was that I was gone. Clearly, I was going to be fine on the moon because I didn't anticipate that someone was going to essentially zerg rush me (I was playing on the moon for two days, seriously), with nothing to gain from it.

It makes sense to attack for gain, but you are really gaining nothing, which is what made me annoyed.
