Prestige+ tips

Prestige is nearly the most important thing in the new skill. You want max prestige each floor. This is based on the number of floors you raided previously. Once reset, prestige is FIXED until you do a new floor, then it increases one per new floor.

So say you do floor 1, 2, and 3. Your prestige is 3, and if you do floor 2 again your prestige is still 3. Do a NEW floor, and your prestige goes up one, to 4. Now if you reset, your prestige is fixed at 4. Do floor 1, 2, 3, and 4 and your prestige is 4 because that's how many floors you raided when you reset. Do floor 5 and your prestige goes up to 5. Naturally, you want highest prestige possible for new floors. To get this, you raid all the floors you can then reset. Example-

You are level 39 and can raid up to floor 20. You should do floors 1-20 on complexity 1, for highest speed possible. Then RESET and when you do floors 1-20 again your prestige will be 20 on each floor. By this time you should have increased in level alot and can raid new floors. To keep it simple, let's just say that after doing 1-20 you increased to level 49, which is floor 25. Keep raiding to floor 25 then reset, to get prestige of 25 FIXED and the lower floors reopened. Now do floors 1-25, with your 25 prestige.

I did floors 1-21, This made my prestige 21. But if i just go back and repeat a floor, I wont get prestige for that floor. Why? Well you just don't get the prestige multiplier on floors you have already raided.

So I reset, setting my previous progress to 21. "previous progress" can also be thought of as "prestige multipler", because that will be what your prestige is for the next new floor.

So for floors 1-21 my prestige will be 21.

Tips-

To get max prestige fastest, do level 1 2 and 3 complexity, then exit and go back to 1 complexity. Do this on F2P as it is the absolute fastest way to get to max prestige. Then reset, do all floors on p2p, 6 complexity, largest room possible. I am not sure if it is best to kill all npcs for the bonus or skip some for faster floors. you should not have to go back to f2p again.

You can bind one weapon/armor and one type of amunition (ie- runes or arrows). Good to make 125 promethium arrows and bind, to have for awhile.

Also good to make runes for gatestone teleports for each party member, and drop at boss door. As he is usually so far away, and you sometime have to go back and forth with keys.

Hope this helps. It may still seem a bit confusing, I tried to make it as simple as I could.

Edit- also worth reading

basiclly you want previous progress to be as high as possible

[12:28] <Rufioso> because thats what your prestige is

[12:28] <paulrat3> ok

[12:28] <Rufioso> and thats what gives best exp

[12:28] <paulrat3> so yeah 1-35 would of been tasty

[12:28] <Rufioso> so, now you reset, and previous is already 27

[12:29] <paulrat3> ahh right

[12:29] <Rufioso> so do 1-27 on 6, then since you will unlock like 35 in the process

[12:29] <Rufioso> do 27-35 on 1 complexity to just blow through fast

[12:29] <paulrat3> ahh right i get it lol

[12:29] <Rufioso> then reset and that will set previous to 35

[12:30] <paulrat3> then repeat

[12:30] <Rufioso> yes

[12:30] <paulrat3> <3

[12:30] <Rufioso> so u only rly need f2p if ur previous is like 3

[12:30] <Rufioso> which i wasnt sure if urs was

I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.

No offense, but there is already a thread in here explaining prestige, and in my opinion it is clear as crystal so no need for another thread.

I don't want to offend you, sorry if I did

To be honest I still don't see the use in resetting your prestige. Sure you get to earn prestige again at lower floors but rushing through it on f2p at complexity 1? You get peanuts for experience since the base xp is really low; the xp is half of what complexity 6 is. And if you are stuck on a floor, why would you want to unlock new ones just to get stuck on them? For example get stuck on floor 20, reset everything and do floors 1-20 at mediocre xp, then get stuck on floor 21? I don't know, just seems like a really inefficient way of training to me.

The topics should be merged as it's about the same, though some new info/tips.

I don't know if it's worth building up prestige on a F2P server at complexity 1 (less XP) or just rebuilding on P2P at complexity 6. Assume you get base prestige of 100 per level,

Floor run / Prestige Run from 0 Prestige

Floor : Base : Total base

1 : 50 xp : 50 xp

2 : 100 xp : 150 xp

3 : 150 xp : 300 xp

4 : 200 xp : 500 xp

5 : 250 xp : 750 xp

6 : 300 xp : 1050 xp

and so on unti

19: 950 xp : 9550 xp

20: 1000 xp : 10500 xp

So, buy the time you get to floor 20 you'll have built up 21,000 base xp (10,500 xp from the floors and another 10,500 xp from the prestige). That would be cut in half on Complexity 1 so you lose out on 10,500 xp. Now, if you get that xp in less than half the time it would have taken you on complexity 6 then you win out. By the way, if you had kept your prestige at 20 (which 1000 base xp), you would have gotten 30,500 base xp (10,500 xp from the floors and 20,000 xp from the prestige).

Since I'm on the subject, here's the total Base XP for each Prestige Run (doing all floors at max Prestige).

Prestige Run : Floor Base XP : Prestige Base XP : Total XP

1 : 50 : 50 : 100

2 : 150 : 200 : 350

3 : 300 : 450 : 750

4 : 500 : 800 : 1300

5 : 750 : 1250 : 2000

6 : 1050 : 1800 : 2850

7 : 1400 : 2450 : 3850

8 : 1800 : 3200 : 5000

9 : 2250 : 4050 : 6300

10 : 2750 : 5000 : 7750

11 : 3300 : 6050 : 9350

12 : 3900 : 7200 : 11100

13 : 4550 : 8450 : 13000

14 : 5250 : 9800 : 15050

15 : 6000 : 11250 : 17250

16 : 6800 : 12800 : 19600

17 : 7650 : 14450 : 22100

18 : 8550 : 16200 : 24750

19 : 9500 : 18050 : 27550

20 : 10500 : 20000 : 30500

21 : 11550 : 22050 : 33600

22 : 12650 : 24200 : 36850

23 : 13800 : 26450 : 40250

24 : 15000 : 28800 : 43800

25 : 16250 : 31250 : 47500

26 : 17550 : 33800 : 51350

27 : 18900 : 36450 : 55350

28 : 20300 : 39200 : 59500

29 : 21750 : 42050 : 63800

30 : 23250 : 45000 : 68250

31 : 24800 : 48050 : 72850

32 : 26400 : 51200 : 77600

33 : 28050 : 54450 : 82500

34 : 29750 : 57800 : 87550

35 : 31500 : 61250 : 92750

From here on out, redoing all 35 floors will net 92,750 base XP each time ie slow as hell.

You don't add floor exp and prestige exp, you average the two right?

Yep. I was getting about 100 per floor and 100 per prestige, so the chart I made is based off that. Looking at the top post, he got a lot less for floor 4 and prestige 8. It may be a while before an accurate chart can be made.

So... it's just "Do all floors in order, then reset and do them all in order again", right?

If so, thanks for the awesome tip!
