Making more gold in dungeoneering

Featured Replies

Just a tip for everyone. It is much better to high alch stuff in Daemonheim then to sell it to the smuggler. you get actually exactly double the gold.

Cheapest way to high alch is first buy one Blood spindle branches and a knife. use the knife on it to make a staff. use the staff on the runecraft altar to make a fire staff (a Blood spindle staff is the cheapest staff that can become a firestaff).

After that you can make nature runes for 50 each (25 if you can make 2 per essence). So every item that is worth more then 50 is profitable to high alch. The charms are really nice for it because they are worth a lot and this method doubles it.

Nice tip, might want to post this in help and advice instead though.

Nice tip; not much of a topic to discuss though.

Moved to Help & Advice. :)

Lovely tip; thank you!

"All that is gold does not glitter..."

This is actually a nice way to train magic. I usually end up with at least 50k gold at the end, which is ~1000+ nature runes. Alch up some arrows (novice arrows 40 ea for example) and its pretty much free magic exp.

Nice one mate. I made 160k in the last dungeon i played through.

99 Attack - Done

Thanks for the tip. I did a few solo raids today and found that I had little money, full Argonite melee armour and had to go against Astea Frostweb. She barrages and moves around, and can only really be beaten by range if you solo. Using the high alch, I managed to scrape some half-decent ranged armour and just managed to survive her with two web snippers left, so thanks!

Tip for you when you face her again.

Back her into a corner and use ranged/melee when she prayer switches.

Also pray melee against the spiders and just absorb her magic damage. She shouldnt do too much damage if you have good ranged armour.
