The Rising defeats Corruption

So The Rising officials decided to test ourselves with our new found activity and the prospect of fighting Corruption is never taken lightly. So we pumped up this epic challenge like no other. Our sign up going towards Sunday was BEAST and it showed on the fight day. We massed and headed up to mossies with 250 opts starting and hopped to Corruption’s world.

Rules:
2 hour cap starting 8 GMT ending 10 GMT
No sniper cap
Spiders – GDZ boundaries
All styles
No corrupt allowed

The fight started with both sides sending out an incredibly healthy amount of snipers to keep each other’s main pile busy. The fight was by no way easy and it swayed in advantage throughout. Our tactics remained as much the same as Corruption’s I think in that we both cleared snipers then attempted to hit each other’s main pile whilst trying not to get dragged to Greater Demons where it would be easy to tank. Our sniper unit did an AMAZING job in keeping Corruption callers at a minimum, tanking and keeping their hybrids in rune, GREAT JOB, we couldn’t have won it without you <3.

The dedication tonight was top notch, great job everyone in TR – especially to our dedicated binders.
We took back snipers about 2 minutes from the end of the fight and managed to rip through a great deal of Corruptions pile leaving us with a higher immediate ending opts.

Although there were some claims that EoS were in our pile and sniping Corruption the whole fight – in fairness we piled a lot of EoS members aswell and got word from our friend Noble Inc that he was instructing EoS to leave the fight.
