After a recent browse of the hiscores, you'll find that gertjaars no longer shows up under his original name. Instead he changed his name to "Mauves Army". If you notice he is ranked a little over 1.2k total, and his dungeoneering is unranked. Could this be his way of discretely slipping under the radar and becoming a casual player? If you remember back to Summoning's release the same happened to Zezima. Just looking for opinions, and thoughts.I found it interesting that for 2 skills in a row the top players at the time have slipped under the radar.

 

Edit: I just tracked him, he gained 1.1m xp in hunt today so I doubt he's quitting, feel free to discuss on though.

its hard to tell sense his A log is private, but he could just be sticking with other non-dungeonering goals for the moment, and hoping that faster methods are later released for dungeonering.

 

Edit: im also very surprised that zarfot quit herblore at 197.5m xp...He'll probably power 120 dungeonering and snag rank one IMO

I wouldn't be surprised if Zarfot somehow came out of left-field and snagged #1 dungeoneering. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've always been a Zarfot fanboy, ever since his first slayer guide.

Yeah I like zarfot just because he's so innovative in runescape and efficient as hell.

When hunter came out and construction, Zezima dropped off the front page also. There's hundred's of thousands of player's fighting them for the top rank; they don't get 99 until a few days after the first 99. Gertjaars will eventually catch up when he decides to go for lvl 120. No one's even close to 2B exp yet.

I would of done the same thing. honest.

Why does it matter? I never knew the activities of one player warranted the creation of a thread by itself.
