Slayer Masters

I am not that big into combat, but ive done enough to get to the point where i need to decide which slayer master is best. Kuradel seems to give out huge tasks, some being very difficult. Summona gives out decent tasks imo, but i dont know how the exp compares. The shilo guy (cant remember his name with WGS completed...) gives me metal drags up the ying yang. Essentially, i just want somebody to give me the master that will give me the best exp. As far as equipment goes, money isnt a problem. Pros and cons for each would be great. Thanks guys :)

Summona:

 

Pro's:

Gives tasks that arent too long but are still good xp and profit

Easy to Access ( with the slayer ring )

 

Con's:

Sometimes gives annoying tasks like the Turoths and Kurasks.

Tasks can be a bit repetative at times.

Gives high xp tasks

Easy to access ( with karamja gloves 3 )

 

Con's

Gives A LOT of dragon tasks

Some tasks can be annoying like Aquanites and Red Dragons

Kuradel:

 

Pro's:

Access to the Kuradels Ring ( +40 damage when used inside her dungeon)

A lot of her tasks can be done inside of her dungeon making it easier to complete at task and get back to her

Fairy Ring access

Gives Good xp tasks while not too hard to complete

 

Con's:

Sometimes gives annoying tasks

Sometimes gives Repetative tasks

Can sometimes be annoying to get to her because of waterfiends,barbarians, and brutal green's

Kuradal is the best slayer master, hands down. Her ring and dungeon, plus her good set list really shine, plus longer tasks might mean they get boring and take a while but they also minimize time to get a new task and switch equipment. If you want you can use Lapalok until your combat skills are straight 90's, but you can handle Kuradal now if you try. Best of luck slaying :thumbup: .

Aspeeder hit the nail on the head, Kurdel is best to use but if u start to find her tasks to get a bit hard or tedious you can downgrade to Lapalok until you have around 90 in all ur melees =]

Kuradal hands down. If you don't like her then do Lapalok and block steels until you get higher stats and you use Kuradel.

Great, thanks guys. Thats exactly how i wanted it laid out for me :) I figure im close enough to straight 90s to handle her if thats the recommendation. Def is the issue, but does 85 to 90 really affect that much? I think ill go with her regardless :)

If you wear barrows and have a bunyip out plus an EE you should be able to tank her tasks no problem, but it's not too bad to train with a whip :razz: .

Yeah. My setup is dh top, v skirt, def, whip, EE, yip, fury, zerker, etc. pretty much the regular stuff. i would buy bandos, but i dont think its really worth it, considering its cost and inexpensive replacements, or arguably, improvements.

I agree even at around 90 defence this was my setup

 

Slayer helm / Black Mask

Fury / Glory

Torso > guthans plate(only if i needed the extra def) > Prossy top (if i was pietying my tasks)

Torag Legs > Verac Skirt

Dragon Boots

Barrows gloves > Best RFD gloves you have

Fire cape > Soul Wars Cape > Trimmed Skillcape > Obsidian cape

Whip > D scimi > Sara Sword

Rune Defender > Toktz-Ket-Xil > Dragon Sq

Berserker ring > Warrior ring > Kuradels Ring ( if using her dungeon )

Kuradal wins no question. The ferocious ring +40 bonus is great and applies to most tasks she gives. Plus the other tasks you get from her are great for something or another, waterfiends for charms, dust devils are easy, dags are fast, etc.

 

She'll give bigger tasks true, which can be annoying if you get assigned dragons or something slow, but then again you'll probably only have like 1 or 2 more runs compared to from a lower slayer master. Plus for tasks like abby demons, spiritual mages, abby spectres, and other profitable tasks you'll be making more money, or have more chances for a whip/boots. Which you'll get to eventually ;)

 

Your stats should be fine for her too.

Kuradel is superior. Her ring, large task sizes, fairy ring make her a really nice master. If you are finding tasks to be repetitive just block them, that is what the block points are for.

As soon as you can, use the higher master you can aka Kuradael
