Need defence advice

I need a little advice, whether it be guides, links to sites or just helpful friendly advice. After 99 fishing i want to get 99def for my stats what would you recommend i fight for decent xp/hr rate with decent drops? Also, do u think i should first lvl my att and str to 80 before getting 99defence? All advice and answer are appreciated. Thank you all. :D

I hit 99 def at like 70 att and str, doing slayer.

First off, keep the text the default, as it can get annoying if you change colors and size, and sometimes even drives users away from helping.

 

OT: I would actually say get 90 in all first, but I wouldn't go any lower than 80 personally. You could go straight for it now, but 80's/90's would make it a bit quicker. I'd go with Slayer as you'll be training multiple skills (and don't forget to pick up charms). If you're in a big hurry, go with Armored Zombies.

Yes slayer is definitely the way to go, and you could do it at 80s but you'll really notice it once you get to 95+ def it will seem like it's taking forever, i would say at least 85 to make it a little faster, and also on the last mill or so xp it might be good idea to go az's because trust me by then you'll hate def and slayer soooooo, much I did at least. :grin: and gl on it totally worth it in my opinion.

If you want experience and some money, I think armored zombies are still a good option. You'll have to do Defender of Varrock and a couple other quests as well though.

For casual training, drops, profit etc. do slayer

 

For faster leveling with still decent drops AZ with salve amulet (e)

I would get 90 in all then go 99 def, or atleast 80.
