Runecrafting Question

Recommended Posts

After I get 95 Fishing I'll start Runecrafting again. I'll certainly do natures to 82, and then that's where my question comes in. Is it better to switch to double astrals at 82 or stick with natures all the way? If someone knows the exp/hr and pure profit/hr of astrals that would help a lot.

Double astrals are something like 600k/hour, going off nats being 850k.

I don't think that's right. I'm pretty sure that astrals are only slightly worse than natures, but have a better experience rate. I would personally do ZMI to 82, astrals to 91, and then natures to 99 (unless you're trying to max as soon as possible, in which case I would just do what Bladewing said).

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Sounds about right to me. If nats are 270 ea, astrals are 200 ea, and nats are quicker to run.

I know jack all about rcing though, so if they're about the same speed to run they're closer.

Just offerin my 2c.

Drops: Black Mask.

Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.

double astrals are about 900k gp/hour, nats are about 1160k gp/hour right now.

If you want to use the whole efficiency thing, it's best to do Steam Runes/ZMI until 91, since the speed easily makes up for the lost money.

For example, if you did 2x astrals to 91, you might make X amount of coins in Y amount of hours. Well if you did ZMI to 91, it would take Y - 20 hours, let's say. In those extra 20 hours you have, you can easily make X amount of coins or more by doing double natures.
