Was hoping the 'surprise' would be something more than Portal 2 on PS3 (Get a move on with Episode 3?), I'd guessed that would have anyway, maybe not as direct release from Valve though. I'm just curious to know if Gabe actually changed his mind or if he was persuaded in any way. Still hunting for more in on New Vegas and Brink if there is any.

When questioned on the cross-compatibility between Steamworks and Steam, specifically playing co-op on a computer with someone on a PS3, he said it was "something the team is gunning for." We also confirmed with Valve developer Mike Dunkle who said "The plan is you will be able to play between console and PC."

Pretty good news regarding the Steamworks on PS3, lets hope they include KB/M support and put their other games up for download.
