November 22, 200520 yr We got a new iMax movie theatre about 30 minutes from my house. Harry Potter is the first movie to come for iMax, and i was wondering if it is worth it seeing it in iMax, or if i should just see it in a regular theatre?

November 22, 200520 yr yeah, the one about the elephants kicked a.. when i was in 3rd grade. not something a 3rd grader normally enjoys, but seeing it all the way around you is freaking awesome. i havent been able to go to one since then :(

Its 3D, and you can sit around it in a circular type of a pattern, seats are high up and it also has much better sound then a theatre. It also owns :lol:

November 22, 200520 yr well the imax theatre when i went (about 10 years ago or so i guess) wasnt 3d. they might make them 3d, i dont know. the one i went to has a screen thats around 4 stories tall, and i dont know how wide but if you sit in the middle you cant see both the edges. screen quality is about the same, sound quality is awesome. they have 4 stories of screen to hide speakers behind, so it pretty cool. seating is like stadium seating+1, you basically sit where your feet are at the person below head.

The iPod was/is cool, but now its being overused. Everyone just sticks anything that begins with the letter I as a lower case. iMax? Lol :lol:

Lol :lol: i went to see a documentary at the imax around 10 years ago, so ipod copied off of them. :D

On a field trip to Chicago we watched an iMax on dolphins. It...was...awesome... Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
November 23, 200520 yr Tickets for the IMAX in Brisbane are like 50% cheaper than standard movie tickets :D You can bet your life if anything decent is screening there that is where I go ;)
November 23, 200520 yr I've only seen an IMAX once in my entire life, and that was at the franklin institute where i went with my anatomy and physiology to see the body world exhibit (plastinated human bodies on display) but still we went to see the IMAX, that thing was incredible, like it was about the human body and what happens during a normal lifecycle, during pregnancy when the sperm went towards the egg they played some berry white music, lol :D If you get a chance to see a IMAX movie, i would its well worth the price they charge for the quality you get.
