Harry Potter is the first movie to come for iMax, and i was wondering if it is worth it seeing it in iMax, or if i should just see it in a regular theatre? indy500fan Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 well the imax theatre when i went (about 10 years ago or so i guess) wasnt 3d. they might make them 3d, i dont know. the one i went to has a screen thats around 4 stories tall, and i dont know how wide but if you sit in the middle you cant see both the edges. screen quality is about the same, sound quality is awesome. they have 4 stories of screen to hide speakers behind, so it pretty cool. seating is like stadium seating+1, you basically sit where your feet are at the person below head. Question tho: Why does everyone feel the need to use a lowercase i when starting a word now? The iPod was/is cool, but now its being overused. Necrofuss Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 I've only seen an IMAX once in my entire life, and that was at the franklin institute where i went with my anatomy and physiology to see the body world exhibit (plastinated human bodies on display) but still we went to see the IMAX, that thing was incredible, like it was about the human body and what happens during a normal lifecycle, during pregnancy when the sperm went towards the egg they played some berry white music, lol :D If you get a chance to see a IMAX movie, i would its well worth the price they charge for the quality you get.
