Recommend a monster

Featured Replies

Okay, I have less than 1M xp until 99 attack (already maxed out strength, defence and constitution), so looking to finish melee up.

Can anyone recommend a monster to train on? It doesn't have to be the best xp, but should be decent, and should have decent drops... just no armoured zombies suggestions!

Thanks.

Skelleton monkies or slayer.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

You could try hunting for champion scrolls. :D

AZs

AZs would be the best, and the fastest since you also have 99 Str.

Slayer would be slower, and by the look of it you don't like slayer all that much.

Guess that means you're stuck with Skeleton Monkeys like Aeil suggested.

ankous?

decent drops and not bad xp

Dust Devils aren't bad. Maybe Waterfiends. But then again, you wouldn't be able to train attack effectively.

Your slayer level is only 67. You might as well train it through that so that you won't waste time training it later.

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

I recommend slayer if you like variety. I hate camping at one monster it becomes boring and dull in my opinion. But if you prefer camping the Armoured Zombies or other monsters, then you could check out this guide Muggi made for fast melee xp. The link is below.

Slayer. Living Rocks are also a really fast/fun option.

What are these "ankous" and "skeleton monkeys"? I can't find either in the tip.it bestiary...

I'll pass on slayer, never really like it. Most of my levels from it came from the first month it was introduced.. maybe got a level or two since.
