Vhellcat
My apologies if this is already posted. In the Fairy Ring Map guide it states:You must be wielding a Dramen or Lunar staff to use any fairy ring. However after Fairy Tale Part III you no longer have to wield a Dramen or Lunar staff to use Fairy Rings. Also, I didn't see it noted (it's early, I could have missed it :P ) - in either the Fairy Ring Map or the Getting Around Guide there is a Fairy Ring in the north east tip of the Zanaris Marketplace that is a 'one way' ring which you can teleport out of Zanaris into Al Kharid east of the bank by the dock with the ship to Daemonheim. In the Lost City Guide it states: You need to be wielding a Dramen Staff (from quest) once you enter the hut to get into the Lost City.1. Dramen or Lunar staff works.2. After Fairy Tale Part III you no longer have to wield a Dramen or Lunar staff - instead you will be asked if you want to go to Zanaris or enter the building. It also states:Towards the south east, you will have to pay the doorman a cut diamond so you can enter the Fairy Market. You will not have to pay a cut diamond after Fairy Tale part III, the Gatekeeper will thank you for all you've done for them. Thank you,Vhellcat P.S. The Lost City map is now outdated and if I knew how to make a map I would but I don't #-o Just something that may be added to someone's "To Do" list. ;) Vine is waving at me. What? What was that?! It gave me the tendril! :o
Aiel
I'll just add on to this rather then making my own topic: in the FTP3 quest guide it states that you have to enter all the codes (AIR DLR DJQ AJS) to get to the fair queen's hideout, you only need to enter the last one (AJS). In the retrieving the fairy wand section, you may want to add that along with the cow, there is a bucket spawn next to the windmill. For the fight against the Ork generals, I prayed mage in melee defense armor and did not take a single damage, this may be more effective then praying melee. I think thats all if I remember another I'll add it here. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). The first time you go there yourself you have to enter the full code, after this you can get in by just entering AJS for the quest duration. The same works with godfather/final battle area. If you have to exit due to dying or w/e entering ALP will put you straight back there Final fight I prayed mage and it significantly reduced the damage I took, it seems 1 general and the godfather uses mage, then the general with the crossbow/anchor looking thing uses rnage thou it looks magish and the one with big axe obv melee Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Vulxai
My apologies if this is already posted. In the Fairy Ring Map guide it states:You must be wielding a Dramen or Lunar staff to use any fairy ring. However after Fairy Tale Part III you no longer have to wield a Dramen or Lunar staff to use Fairy Rings. This is currently being worked on by another Crew member, and should appear on the site shortly. I'll let our mappers know! In the Lost City Guide it states: You need to be wielding a Dramen Staff (from quest) once you enter the hut to get into the Lost City.1. Dramen or Lunar staff works.2. Every time I enter just AJS, I go somewhere else? However when I click on the Fairy hideout in the Travel log, I got right there...I might have been on drugs, and just typed it in wrong, however I'll get it looked into. In the retrieving the fairy wand section, you may want to add that along with the cow, there is a bucket spawn next to the windmill. For the fight against the Ork generals, I prayed mage in melee defense armor and did not take a single damage, this may be more effective then praying melee. I'll look into getting these both added to the Guide! Aslan
For the fairy ring thingy:I believe that if you let the fairy tele you to the HQ the first time you get to Zanaris before starting the quest you won't have to input the 4 codes, rather the last.If you don't accept her tele offer you'll have to use all the 4 codes then at a later date, only the last. Not true. I took her tele, then the first time I went to see Fairy Queen etc I had to put in all 4 codes.I also had to re-enter all 4 codes when I went somewhere between entries. eg: I came out went to enchanted valley to do general then went to go back ALS didnt send me in, had to do all 4.However coming out to get the wand and then going str8 bk ALS put me in without the 3 previous codes Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Tim
Sorry to intervene, but could you possibly outline the exact thing at fault at the moment? Im quite confused as it is reading through the page and only understand its something to do with Fairy Ring Codes. Popoto.~<

Im quite confused as it is reading through the page and only understand its something to do with Fairy Ring Codes. Currently, the only things on here that aren't changed are: The Fairy Ring Map stating after FTP3, you don't need anything to use Fairy Rings, and the whole AJS to the Fairy HQ point. The Fairy Ring Map is drafted by Howlin, but not been released yet (change has been made). ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Sy_Accursed
The Fairy ring Code thing debate is:Some people claim they had to enter the whole code every timeSome people claim they never had to enter the full code But people have mentioned clicking through the travel log (eg the auto dial) which ever since is existence has skipped you to the last code of the code chain for Fairy queen hide out, which kind of explains at least some of the direct teleporting. From what I did, not using the auto-dial but manually entering codes, it does seem to let you in on just the last code sometimes. With both the Fairy Queen Area and the Godfather area if I left them and then went straight back using just the final code let me in. However if I went elsewhere in the ring network in-between I had to do a full re-dial, example being the General's segment where you travel to 3 other rings. Tim
So your saying you couldn't travel to say, General Flesh-thingy's cave without dialing the other two co-ords in to get there? I haven't tried manual dialing but I know clicking them in the list (not the combined one) does dial to them. Popoto.~<

My last co-ords are AJS, if I type just AJS, I got to some Penguin island. If I type in all 4, I get to the HQ, however, if I just click the Travel Log, it dials AJS, and teleports me to the HQ. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
