Best Combat Outfit For 15Mill

Hey guys :) I was hoping some-one would be able to offer me some advice on what the best combat set-up i can buy for 15 Mill is. I'll be training my Att/Str/Def to atleast 85+ through slayer.

Heres my stats :)

I'd go with

Black Mask(later turned into a slay helm)

Glory

Whip+Rune defender

Barrows top(dharok/guthan/torag, either 1 of these 3)*

Barrows legs(^)

D boots

Best gloves from RFD(Recipe for Disaster)

and a warrior ring.

 

* I prefer using the full guthan set aswell(so I wear the top/legs all the time).

171k for a decent range outfit. The 8-9m left over do whatever you want with it. Otherwise upgrade dhide to karils if you want.

 

If money is too much of a concern don't bother with mage outfit.

Full Guthan's, slayer helm > black mask > neit helm, whip + defender, glory, d boots, best RFD gloves > combat bracelet, berserker ring, obsidian or fire cape.

 

Guthan's is going to be good for healing especially since you don't have the stats for a Bunyip. While you slay, use the slayer helm, whip and defender. When you need to heal swap to your barrows set.

 

Also a cool trick is to bring a dragon battle axe and use the spec + restore potions + super attack potions to boost your attack and strength. It's well worth it and cheap.

 

On the question of the amulet of fury, get it asap. You should have some cash left after buying this set-up. Save it until you get enough for a fury.

Fury is close to 13m atm.He only has 15M.Don't spend all your money on a single item.Just use glory.

Don't use the dbaxe, it wastes the spec when you could use it for DDS.

 

Also, get torag/dharok top + verac bottom. Good defence and prayer bonus.

neitz helm requires fremennik isles to use and i would suggest a slayer helm/black mask instead of it

black mask (make into slay helm asap)

whip + defender

rfd gloves + glory + dboots + rol / warrior + any cape

 

That's under 10m. The remaining won't buy you much improvement and is probably better spent on supplies.

 

If I were you I'd get a cheapish outfit and then train summoning with the remaining gp. Bunyip is a far more reliable and carefree source of healing. Then you won't need full guthan, which is quite finicky.

If you read my post, I mention fury at the end as a suggestion of what to save up to as he slays and what to use the leftover cash from buying the build with. By no means do I suggest for him to get fury right off the bat.

I'd suggest you go cheap on the boots, gloves, ammy, etc and spend a good lump on a weapon (most important, maybe a sara sword) and a chestplate (Dragon plate?)

That's a strange suggestion from a practical perspective.

 

Sara sword is worse than whip+defender, and only really useful for training specifically strength. Most slayers would advise using whip on controlled.

 

Dragon plate is a joke. And maybe a decent status item. The defense increase is insignificant when you're fighting weak things with good available healing. Besides which, barrows is better defensively and it'll be years before you pay enough in repairs to offset the price difference.

not to mention the OP is looking for a SETUP for 15m...

 

Dragon Plate = 12.6m

Saradomin Sword = 8.9m

 

total for those 1 items = 21.5m which is approximatly 6.5m more than the op has to spend AND only gives him a plate and weapon which is absolutley pointless...

 

heres my suggested setup::

Torags Plate

Torags Legs

Dragon Boots

Combat Bracelet

Whip

Toktz-ket-xil / obby shield

Warrior Ring / Wealth / RoL

Obsidian Cape

 

this setup shouldnt cost more than maybe 7m with a good defence and offence.
