Pietying slayer tasks

On average, how many prayer pots per task is it for this gear:

 

Soul Wars Cape

Proselyte top and bottom

Fury

(+30 prayer)

 

and:

 

Soul Wars Cape

Verac's top and bottom

Fury

(+26 prayer)

 

and:

Proselyte Top

Veracs skirt

Fury

(+29 prayer)

 

Which is the best to use on non-prayer tasks?

Heck, with 99 prayer, and +9 prayer, I was using 8-15 p pots a task. So ~under 10 i'd say. I was turmoiling, berserker, and SS as needed.

With extreme pure sets and the layouts you have listed, expect to spend like 15-20 ppots per task. Without a SGS, it will be significantly higher. Having said that, i always piety. If memory serves, you are best off pietying if you can make 700k an hour or more. On my average task, i use your third setup to piety. Between my bunyip, piety def boost, and (if required) my EE spec, your health should be covered.

At 70 prayer and +30 bonus, you'll use 12 prayer potions per hour. It shouldn't take you an hour to do any task but abyssal demons or dark beasts, really. SGS only saves 2.5 prayer potions an hour if you average a 400 with each spec (doubtful).

15-20 ppots a task? Whatever you're doing, you're doing it wrong. With +30 pray, I take no more then 6(4) p pots, and almost always have 1-2 left over. The only exception here is LRC, for which I take ~10 (with a few left over). I don't have SGS, it's a waste. OP's pray lvl is a little lower and piety drains faster, so maybe take 6-8 p pots max...see what works for you.

 

With 94 def, full prossy should be sufficient for most tasks (don't use extreme def pots ofc). Since you can't use SS, I guess you could use veracs on tasks where you get hit a lot, like hellhounds.

Flashing pray defeats the purpose of high pray bonus. Might as well go with bandos + fire cape.

Well, I don't have bandos, and I hardly need food on a lot of tasks, so I went with the prayer bonus, as I have no better armor to wear, really.

That is waaaay too intensive for me. I don't want to be blankly staring in front of the screen flicking prayer every second or so.

I was flashing turmoil + SS at wf a while back while wearing full void and I lost <10 p points/hr...

in general, yes but WFs have nothing to get the added bonus from so it doesnt matter.

Yes, but at waterfiends it doesn't because they have no strength or attack, so however long turmoil is activated, it stays at 15% att, 23% str. (your def does get raised to 26 or 29% though)

when ever I prayer flash, I never loose prayer points...so why would you use 1-2 pots a task when flashing?

 

Anyways, I'd say about 8 pots should do it with your +30 prayer setup for the average task.
