Is stringing fast exp or is it a faster way?

It's very fast and not click intensive, but kind of expensive.

OT: I've been wanting to get 94 mage for a while, and I tried to buy ammys. Unfourtunately I think they're bought out and I saw some going for 300 ea on the forums? But tbh, I don't trust those prices, but unstrung gold ammies are indeed on the rise. Might wanna try some other method for now, like stunning/ plank make.

And I tried buying them at max, but no luck currently. My guess is they won't be rising for long, and just buy them when they crash. In the meantime, there are cheaper (and sometimes faster) options.

While the two methods that you suggested are still good magic xp, they are slower and more expensive, it is true that you do get a secondary benefit as you mentioned, but if you only want fast mage xp, than those methods are not ideal.

If you take that exp value and convert it into cost of gold smelting (best way to train only smelting), it is worth 70m. So essentially, you are making 55m by superheating. It is a bit slower, but is still relatively fast. Hell, 100k exp per hour is like 5x what i can get graahking nats. Bursting gets you charms. Nuff said on that :P

I fail? I assume that most people want charms, unless you are 99 summ. If you arent 99 summ, i assume you aim to get as high a summoning level as you can. Why would you want to train mage in a way that only costs you money when you could train mage and get charms? The fastest way to get charms is by bursting, so i also assume that you will be bursting for charms. I fully understand opportunity cost and combine it with an ounce of logic.

 

EDIT: And for the record, ill use math to prove how i fully understand opportunity cost and how YOU actually fail. From my level, it will take about 75 hours to get 99 mage. As i proved last post, it makes you 55m essentially. Based on these numbers, if you make more than ~750k an hour, it is best to plank make etc. With the current market, my 91+ rc tops out at about 700k an hour. Most people dont make 700k an hour or more, so superheating is the most efficient way. Grab some bench?
