May 28, 201016 yr Well, I enjoy doing dungeoneering, and was thinking about raising these four skills to make the skill more enjoyable for me to train (I like being able to get the best items just in-case I need them). So I was wondering the best ways to go about training these skills. For mining and smithing, I was thinking I would mine Gold/Addy in Keldagrim for 77, then do LRC. Then use the Coal and Gold I get there to raise my Smithing. Is this a reasonable process to do it with? When mining is it better to use an Lava Titan for faster mining, or a Pak Yak for longer trips? What other training methods are efficient for Smithing? Now, for crafting. I heard awhile back that making Feathered Headdresses was good GP/XP (I'd just lend items to get rid of them), is this still true? How does making headdresses work? Is it a make X, or Spam click, how much XP/Hour is it.. What should I do to raise my level to 79 crafting for these? Are there more efficient methods considering both money and time? For Hunter, is Hunting Chinchompas really the best way? Are there any methods that are faster xp? I'm really not interesting in money from Hunter, I just want the levels fast. May 28, 201016 yr The only skill I know a bit about is Smithing, so I'll give you some tips. If you are mining concentrated Gold Ore, I would use that with Goldsmithing Guantlets from The Family Crest quest. Also, make sure you do your smelting in the Edgeville Furnace, which requires any of the three Varrock armour pieces I believe.
May 28, 201016 yr I only know about hunter, if you want faster exp, just hunt red salamanders. 99/99 Hunter73/80 Smithing74/80 Agility71/75 Slayer69/70 Summoning~Silasinth~
May 28, 201016 yr Author Yea, for smelting gold, I was planning on Superheating + Furnace smelting it. How much XP/Hour should I expect at red Salamanders? Does any of the camouflage help at red salamanders? Fisher/Woodcut------Me-----Miner/crafter----Stabber----Leecher ^Golvellius must be so proud^
May 28, 201016 yr for smithing you may want to consider superheating while mining, it doesnt interrupt mining. Also I would definetly say Gold in keldi, I find it very enjoyable. Red sallis are the fastest for hunter, and I really have no idea for crafting. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
May 28, 201016 yr Until 80, hunting penguins is probably the fastest way to go. Expect rates of 75k+ per hour with an Arctic Bear. http://forum.tip.it/topic/267129-hunting-penguins/
May 28, 201016 yr I'd suggest powermining up to 80 then superheating gold in the living rock caverns with gaunts (you said you were possibly planning to superheat anyway). This is the single most efficient way to gain mining/smithing/magic exp. Wearing varrock armor 2 or 3 helps quite a lot. Until 80, hunting penguins is probably the fastest way to go. Expect rates of 75k+ per hour with an Arctic Bear. http://forum.tip.it/topic/267129-hunting-penguins/ From 75-77 I was getting rates of slightly above 90k at red sallys, with an arctic bear. May 28, 201016 yr My mining level is 99. I suggest you raise mining to level 80 doing granite in the quarry. After that, move onto concentrated gold rocks inside the living rock caverns. Here the superheat comes into mind, so basically smithing and mining at the same time. Its the fastest way to level up mining and its the cheapest way to level up smithing/magic. Items: Dragon pickaxe is very usefull, 15% faster than a rune oneNature runesGoldsmith gauntletsand i guess you know the rest.

May 29, 201016 yr Make money using Hunting, Mining and Smithing. Then use the money for crafting, craft the best thing you can do until green dhide bodies and then green dhide bodies until the level you want. No matter what method your going to use, you are going to lose money.
May 29, 201016 yr For crafting I'd just do green d'hide bodies to whatever level you want. Btw, to craft a feather headdress, you need a coif + 20 feathers of the corresponding colour. I have no idea how fast it is, so i would still do the d'hide bodies, and use sc needles if you wish, they last for 45k exp each roughly.
