bean824
Hi all. A few months ago I left P2P, for what I thought was for good, so I sold all my P2P items and destroyed all the quest items, and dropped the ones I couldn't destroy. However, some of my friends have now started playing again, and they've started to encourage me to start. If I were to become a member again, would I be able to recover all the the quest items that I've god rid of? If not there's no point in carrying on, may as well start a new account! Thanks
firestrike
The answer to your question is a simple yes. you can get back most quest items you destroy/drop, for each item if you know it's name basically type it into tip.its item database and it mostly says how to get it back once it has been destoyed/dropped. bean824
Ah that's good, thanks. I'm hoping to just be able to go through the quest items before I start one and see what I need
Bows
You never want to drop/destroy items. Nobody ever quits, they just take extended breaks.
Dexek
As far as quest items go, Jagex has made the game nearly idiot-proof in terms of retreiving lost items. You shouldn't have any problem getting them back. I also like to destroy quest items for some extra bankspace, and thus far all have been easily retreived when needed. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
homowz
i think there are only like 3 or 4 quest items that cant be retreived, and those are more quest rewards then items needed for the quest.so yea u can easely get em back :) [hide]visage drop 11/01/09goals:all skills 70+ (completed)all skills 80+98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER![/hide]
tortilliachp
there used to be an item in the legends quest you couldn't get back. I mailed a bug report, it was fixed the next update. I was subsequently also told how i would get it back with the new method. If it can't be gotten back, jagex will ensure you can get it back
SirIzenhime
unless they changed it, there's only two quest items I know of that you can't get back The Bluerite Sword and the Cattle Prod Fisher/Woodcut------Me-----Miner/crafter----Stabber----Leecher ^Golvellius must be so proud^
schmuall
In response, Yes you can certainly get most of your quest items back (though off the top of my head, I can only think of 3 that I'd want to - Salve (e), Accumulator, SW cape... maybe I'm not thinking about this properly). I do remember someone raging ages ago about not being able to get a bone shard key back (or something like that) but you only needed it to enter a very out of the way cave with no real benefit for going there... Welcome back to members! give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
