Sharper
IE Is pretty secure the problem is that the users have to make it secure most people just leave default settings inplace. Surely then thats a flaw in IE to have such insecure settings in a vanilla install? If you have the latest version of Internet Explorer and obviously keep it up-to-date I believe the default settings are to block popup's and only allow verified active-x controls. Someone would have to change the settings off the defaults to get spyware that didn't involve you accepting it.

There have been many documented cases about viruses and hackers exploiting "harmless" activex controls already installed on people's computers. Take a look at the recent example of Sony... I don't know why anyone would want to browse anything other than "Jack's Bait Online" anyway.. Jaklumen You should try Opera, it's got a fully-featured multi-document-interface. Tabs are but a parlor trick when compared to an MDI. :)

timmay929
I like IE better. I DL'ed FF, and it just way too slow. Everything was laggy. IE is much better IMO. Much simpler and faster. Maybe I'll DL FF again when I get computer memory for X-Mas. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
Pinman
firefox won that race about a year ago, between it and i.e, microsoft will have to increase their internet employees budget to keep up :)
