Best thing you can do is build palisades currently (though you can build brick walls [but that would deplete the clay a bit much])

Just saying for the tax thing, 30 copper bars would take like 5-6 hours of work, probably, and not just sitting around. The way a settlement should work is people have roles, like if we had enough people, for example, the leather dryer gives dried furs to tanner, who gives to the high leveled crafter etc.

Okay when I finish my wall, everyone is banned effectively immediately, until I can figure out who has been stealing from me for the past few days, or until I trust you enough.

 

Basically, I have lost, like 30 yellow onions, a four leaf clover, 30 or 40 clay and random items.... I only suspect falador cause the thieves never seem to go for falador and there is a huge roading leading to it, and don't say it's the wall cause it has been left open before.
