Best way to junk trade?

I need some junk for a trade. How can I obtain some without losing money? I was thinking of buying cheese, but don't know what to make it into to get my money back. Or is there a better way for me to sell an onyx without using junk?

But there really isn't a way to make junk as fast as you can make GP. Either sell it with what you have, save until you get junk from things like zammy GWD, or use it as a bartering chip.

Imo, the best way is to trade it for something that has an equal street value and equal GE value.

 

Like, idk, a few crowns? Not sure what the prices are like.

That's only good if he has a use for crowns. Not to mention a crown crash is gona be upon us soon, I'm betting.

Junk trading really doesn't work like that unless you have partyhats to dump useless junk you have been raising the price of for weeks(stuff like mith boots). Since onyxes don't have too much street value you could trade it for a more condensed street price item, or trade it for a larger sum of items max on ge.

Maybe you can just keep your onyx, or try to accumulate junk through trades. Say you need a set of battle robes, then buy them for cash and keep the junk. Eventually you can get rid of all the junk with ur onyx.

Because buying junk with money is not straightforward and people rather spend their junk on other things.

While getting junk trough item lending is pretty simple, unless ofcourse you got nothing to loan out!

My point is why get junk through item lending only to sell off with something else, when you can get straight up cash from lending. Remember the trade limit applies in both cases, its not like you can get 500k junk for 24 hrs when you can only get 50k cash. So it would be counterproductive to lend out items for junk.

 

And it is very easy to buy junk with cash. All you have to do is find an item with street value, then find someone selling for cash. You will get the item + junk.
