Aiel
sell your bandos and go with fury+rune defender+whip/ss+v skirt+pros plate+piety. And do RFD before you do any training. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Owned_Nex
Glory+SS with give you higher stats. Also, ^ only works with easily pray-able assignments. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. Cptbaker08
Glory+SS with give you higher stats. Also, ^ only works with easily pray-able assignments. All tasks are easily pray-able. If you need more defense use Verac's brassard and skirt. If you need to protect from something use Proselyte top and bottom. schmuall
Stats for Glory + SS: Slash:92Str:88Pray:5 Stats for D scim + Rune Def + Fury Slash:86Str:79Pray:5 although this doesn't take into account attack speeds or the def bonuses Rune def gives you. Also worth thinking about the fact that you can't do dragon tasks easily with a SS, or wyvren tasks. Personally, I'd use a whip and fury, training att at first, wait for a decent few drops and the cash to start rolling in then pick up a SS when you have enough cash. EDIT: I totally misread it, sorry give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
Slayer_Jesse
he's training str, therefore, the stats of the whip are irrelevant. go with glory and ss, d scim sucks balls. Troacctid
Sell your Bandos Tassets. Use Verac's Skirt instead. Then you can afford the fury and still use the SS, plus a healthy wad of cash left over. Tassets aren't that great anyway--you'll get a better strength AND prayer boost from a fury, and you gain defense instead of losing it, AND it's less expensive. Zaaps1
I highly recommend whip on controlled. If you don't want defense xp, then I highly recommend at least giving Zerker Necklace + Obby sword a shot, although the necklace might be too hard to come by these days. ~It's Super Effective! tortilliachp
i highly getting attack and dungeoneering up to 80 and getting a chaotic rapier to train with. you will be getting one down the line anyway, might as well get it quickly to use it for a larger portion of your training. ring-wise: if you can be bothered, 300 rank for zerker ring (i) to give +8 str instead of +4 str is a godsend. bottom line: if you don't mind dungeoneering, do it. have fun either way :D
