I know in the entire 5 months they had XD

Yeah, but you're fighting the former best commanders in the world, if Subutai is still alive. Also it's their own turf.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Wouldn't put it past him, I mean if he did work for them, he could gain Subutai's trust and the others, make them fight and as they fought betray both and beat both teams, and he is the only victor!

Some Funny Business

The day of a sailor was never completely good. The rocking motion of the boat could cause many to lose their meals, and they were often at sea for days. It certainly could not get any better with the arrival of a huge Cretian transport fleet, with two warships. The Spanish fleet in the area numbered twenty galleys strong, while the Cretians only had two warships. The Spanish commander immediately asked the Cretians to turn back, and the Cretian warships began to turn.

Then, when its side was facing the Spanish navy, one of the warships fired. A Spanish galley was struck by odd metal projectiles and began listing starboard. The remaining galleys began sailing towards the Cretian warship, attempting to ram it. The other warship seemed unsure of itself, as if there was an internal problem, and it immediately sailed back to Crete. The functioning fired again and again, but the projectiles were not as accurate as hoped, only sinking three more galleys. The Spanish forces neared the Cretian warship, but the projectile storms only grew more accurate as the distance closed.

Finally, only five Spanish galleys reached the warship, beginning their ramming. When the ship barely dented, due to armored plating, the Spanish admiral ordered a boarding. In the fierce melee on the deck of the huge Cretian warship, the projectiles continued to pour into the Spanish galleys. The numerical advantage of the Spanish crew was too great, and the Cretians were almost defeated.

In an effort to protect their technological secrets and prevent the Spanish from taking control of the ship, several of the Cretian crewmembers hoisted the ship's anchor and smashed it into the ship. The sound of a whirlwind was heard, as the ship exploded into many little pieces. The transport ships were forced to turn back, as more Spanish ships came into sight.

Meanwhile, three Cretian warships were sighted off the coast of De Franco. They began firing metal projectiles at the walls, but they only managed to crack the outside layer, and did little damage. When the Spanish forces began tasking their tower-mounted Catapults to return fire, the Cretian warships withdrew and returned to Crete.

More stuff

A joint taskforce from Burgundy and France of two thousand swordsmen and five thousand archers marched towards the besieged French castle. More Icelandic troops landed on the coast of France and rode towards the castle. Neither force advanced against the other, and only minor skirmishes occured.

A thunderstorm is in the area and my internet gets shaky, so any complaints, questions, concerns, etc can be PMed. I'll respond to it tomorrow.

Yes...it is very odd...I can only really guess that the 398 spies I killed, and 2 survivours, where not actually 400 in total, but instead part of a much larger force...

Crete declares war on Iceland....Nex, you really didn't want to do this.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Actually, there were only 400. I haven't read my PMs yet, not sure about what's going on.

I have no intention of using this knowledge for aggression of any sort, I'm just deathly curious as to what those weapons do, and how they work.

I'll be sticking to simple strategy and clever uses of basic weaponry. I'll leave technology to the genuises.

Yeah...

Anyway, Crete releases a new song to inspire enlistment for the war with Iceland, and the potential counter-false-attack from Dusty...

Also a feeling of general unity

Oh for heaven's sake Archi, this is nothing to start a war over. All I figured out was what shot the projectiles, I didn't even figure how this propulsion system was made possible.

Not to mention your forces would be highly disadvantaged in Icelanic waters, which my craft were made to traverse.
