June 24, 201016 yr I started negotiations the first year, and that's for reuniting three countries, there's still two more years to go for Iceland and Greenland, even though they've been parts of Narway and Denmark respectively. Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr No Mather, your Excell sheet system is based on who can get the most women pregnant. If anything, overpopulation ruins a country.
June 24, 201016 yr My excel sheet has population increased by ~2% each year, giving me a ~2% raise in budget, is that what you call instant overpopulation? Edel, I started with known economical facts about Norwegians (avg. income and avg. tax), then I did other incomes in a way that made my GDP exactly what Norway's GDP is. Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr No, but GDPPC allows for it to happen easily. Im not saying you are abusing the system, just that it's abuseable.
June 24, 201016 yr There's no way to make a system that isn't abusable, because excel won't allow sircular calculations(?). Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr Meh, the entire system is flawed. Why cant we just play Ye Olde Hegemony in peace?
June 24, 201016 yr Some of us have actually been longing to play this since hegemony V2 ended. Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr My GDP is fine, Mather. This 4%, 2% and all of this doesn't do anything, if everyone just used the simpler system (of not doing a percentage twice) everyone would have a more realistic amount of money.Stop wining that you have to do 10 more seconds of calculations.GDP per capita is [developmentally delayed]ed. If a family with two working parents pop out a baby, then gdp should (in theory) go down, one of them has to take a ton of time off etc. It's not like the baby suddenly creates a new job that earns him 30k a year.My system is very simple. For gdp: GDP+gdp*growth rateFor budget (assuming 20% tax rate. Adjust as necessary) GDP*.04Pretty damn simple. A lot more simple than:((GDP+Gdp*growth)/Population)(Population+Population*growth) Hegemony-Spain
June 24, 201016 yr Oh quick thing Doom. To make your thing even simpler. GDP x (1 + Growth Rate as a decimal) For example if the growth rate was 14 percent, it would be GDP x (1+0.14)GDP x (1.14) Distributive property! Master of your domain? June 24, 201016 yr I like Doom's system, but we need a mod to decide when someone's growth rate increases/decreases
June 24, 201016 yr That does not allow for avarage income and taxes, please just use this:http://www.mediafire.com/?wjvdinadmmi Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr Meh, the entire system is flawed. Why cant we just play Ye Olde Hegemony in peace?Because this is modern and creative, ye old hegemony is old and not as creative. [Falador tavern]
June 24, 201016 yr Wrong, I've been more creative in the medieval one than this one. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?
June 24, 201016 yr Because the medieval one is like caffeine and this one is like life.In the medieval one it starts with a rush, but eventually it will die off. Here it starts slowly, each day is tedious, but it builds up momentum and suddenly the fun begins. Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr I just don't like the genre and battling stuff.I believe you must be the new me! Do you like Sci-fi? Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr I just don't like the genre and battling stuff.I believe you must be the new me! Do you like Sci-fi? I probably am.Although I enjoy Sci-Fi (Trekky ) I'd have to say my favourite Genre would be 'Modern Future' so no teleporters, anti-matter guns or aliens but still robots and stuff. I like the genre's from If you have ever seen The Last Renaissance which is part of the animatrix i'd say that is my ideal genre.DISCLAIMER: THERE IS A GYNOIDS EXPOSED BREAST IN IT, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SHOCK AND HORROR AT THE INDECANCY AND LACK OF MODESTY OF THE SEVEN SECONDS OF APPALINGNESS. ALSO LOTS OF GORE. [Falador tavern]
June 24, 201016 yr Yes, it was not my thing.I'd watch it if it was on but I wouldn't go a way to watch it when I can be on the computer. [Falador tavern]
June 24, 201016 yr If it was recently then I guess SGU? You should see it from the beggining, start with the StarGate movie from 1994 and proceed with SG-1. By just watching a episode you don't really get the story behind it and it seems boring (been there and I've got a friend who thought it boring less than half a year ago, needless to say, he has now seen every single episode of all three series). Once you learn the story and see the ork put into it you start enjoying it more. Twitter: @TheMather1

But you haven't.Big rush = big fall, just look at Dungeoneering. Twitter: @TheMather1
June 24, 201016 yr Probably in the top 5 of the biggest threads on tip.it. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?
