June 29, 201016 yr How rare are effigy drops? Is it like trophy heads and champion scrolls kind of rare? Wondering because I've been slaying for a couple days (3-5 tasks a day or so). I have gotten other rare-type drops like rune javelins and mystic tops (too many gargoyle tasks lol).

June 30, 201016 yr Actually gargs do drop them I got one from them just today. Good Timber does not grow with ease, the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees. There is dignity in suffering, nobility in pain, but failure is a salted wound, that burns over and over again.
June 30, 201016 yr Gargoyles do drop them. And apparently the effigies are classed in the 'rare' drop, so it's like the chance of getting a black mask from cave horrors. I'd certainly not say it's as rare as a head drop or a champion scroll drop. Been at cave horrors for a few hours each day for the past 2 days and gained 2 or 3 effigies, so they're not extremely rare or anything.

June 30, 201016 yr Around 200k slayer experience per is a good estimate for the droprate, i've seen 13 drops so far in a span of 2.1m slayer xp, but also a 800k slayer xp dry streak. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015.

It really depends on tasks, I've gotten 3 in 1 black demon task, and 2 in one Ice strke task, but i more consistently get 1 a Dark beast task. I've had ~15 effigies so far too. I agree with this estimate. I've had roughly one effigy per 200k slayer experience, too. I've had 12 so far. And gargs definitely drop them, Mckinzy. :rolleyes: To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
