Thanks.not really, it only boosts mage accuracy and def.Defence isn't too important in general.and generally speaking, you won't be maging monsters with high magic defense, so accuracy is more or less useless. I am definitely getting the arcane necklace but also want to get augury if it's useful. I'm thinking whatever prayer book you use might be the most beneficial depending on style. Do you want your power now with no increase later, or do you want your power later with eventual greater increase than augury prayer. I would think that since most people target mages, it might be best to have your power now. Then again, depending on how much time you have to wait, it might be beneficial to get your power later with spells from the other spellbook.
