Well I want a Wily Cat as I hear they have a very high success rate at catching rats and hell rates.

 

How do I go about making my cat that's already grown into a wily cat? Also it's a hellcat if it matters.

just keep catching mice and sooner or later it should turn into a wily cat

 

edit: and if you want it an hell wily cat you have to do the evil dave part (i think) of recipe for disaster and catch the hell mice

i've killed at least 500 hell rats since i got my wily, and the only times my cat fails is when i am physically standing between my cat and the prey.

so just stand in a corner. A wily cat never fails.

have it be over grown then take it to the lady in the port sarim rat pits, the one with the funny name she will change it for you.

The ratcatcher quest gives you access to wily cats. You might have to turn your hell cat back to normal in order to do the quest though, although I am not too sure about that.

I've already done the quest.

It can also become over grown from catching too many rats. That's what happened to me, and I was pissed cause it couldn't catch rats after that, then I realised I could get a wily cat and was happy. Also, to whoever mentioned it, no, you don't have to turn it from a hellcat back to regular to make it wily.
