Harakiri Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Saw it last night. I thought it was kind of funny, but the action was really, really good. It was so smooth and it's nice to see that since a lot of action movies action scenes are choppy. I loved the style too and felt pretty nerdy when I understood where sound effects and music came from. The beginning was slow, but once he started fighting the exes, I thought it really picked up and was a good time. Basically, it was much better than I expected. indy500fan Posted August 14, 2010 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Btw, I just got through reading book 1 of the comic and so far it seems the movie has been pretty loyal to the comic. A few things were different, but then again a lot of the lines were the same. Most notably it seems scott and friends weren't as big of nerds as they were in the movie. But TBH that just made it better :thumbup: The first half of the movie is pretty close to book 1, but then they condense book 2-6 into the second half of the movie so you lose a lot. I thought it was going to be bad since I'm not really a fan of Michael Cera, but boy he fit the part better than anybody else I could imagine.
