The Rising of the Undead

Hmm.... Replying with results may be more difficult than I thought.

I'll post the results early, but any reactions made must be saved until tomorrow.

Earth and Icu, you're both aiming for enslaved cities then, correct?

And it appears Edel is aiming for a Ravaged city...

And Iey, I forgot to mention something else - you can make 100 corpses become a t1 unit of any type.

THERE IS SO MUCH STUFF I FORGOT TO PUT ON FRONTPAGE

Now you know sorta how it feels.

Guess I'll try to enslave a city now since I lack corpses to feed my units atm.

The 1 vampire unit stalks into the city at night, randomly infecting a select few individuals to form a new vampire unit. Meanwhile 1 zombie unit is sent to attack their police barracks as a diversion while the vampires seek out the people who run the city.

The vampires using means of stealth try to enslave the city using my zombie unit as an enforcer, infecting 1/3 of any who rebel (into zombies), other rebels are corpse food.

Icu's vampires are taken into the city, where the nurses treating them for the "unknown illness" are promptly used to spread the vampiric virus. Soon, the city has surrendered to Icu's vampires, giving him another t1 vampire unit and 2 more t1 human units. Meanwhile, the humans in Icu's capital revolt and slay their zombie guards, rapidly taking over the city. Word of the fall of Icu's capital reaches his vampires, who set up the newly enslaved city as the new capital.

Earth's vampires attack the city, easily removing its leaders and placing themselves there instead. Earth gains 3 t1 human units. However, all the humans slaving away in Earth's capital with no guards decide to revolt. See Icu's report for what your vampires do next.

Edel's vampires think he's on some funny drugs for thinking they can turn into ravens and sedate people. However, they fly into a nearby city at night anyways, and, using some odd tactics that include launching a zombie through the mayor's chimney, manage to overrun the city and turn everyone there into either a vampire or zombie. His humans, under the watchful eye of 5 mummy units, have no thoughts of rebellion.

Iey's vampires return with large amounts of intel on both cities. One of them is generally strong and tactically flawed, while the other is tactically advantaged but incredibly weak.

The units she sent to invade a different city fared well also. The zombie distraction went well, and seeing their mayor held hostage by a vampire, the citizens of the city unanimously decided to become servants of Iey's undead empire. After this vote, the vampire unit carried out the rest of their orders, and infected a bunch of people. The humans in Iey's capital, however, revolt against their zombie and mummy oppressors and run for freedom, escaping to continents unknown in a rapidly fashioned boat.

Summary of Icu's Invasion:

+1 t1 vampire unit

+2 t1 human unit

-1 t1 zombie unit

-5 t1 human units

Summary of Earth's Invasion:

+3 t1 human units

-5 t1 human units

Summary of Edel's Invasion:

+1 t1 vampire unit

+3 t1 zombie units

Summary of Iey's Invasion:

+1 t1 vampire unit

+2 t1 human units

-3 t1 human units

New, updated map:

Oh, and everyone finds a massive stack of corpses next to their capital city - 1000 per, to be exact. (I forgot to put in some initial cash so that you guys could actually survive :-# )

Seems like tomorrow calls for constant slaughtering of ALL prisoners if 3 hordes of undead couldn't hold down an equal population of humans.

Units: 2 humans 3 zombies 3 vampires 1 mummies

New tactic is in effect, maybe just a vampire unit per city with a zombie unit will keep them under control.

I wanted the island that Edel got, but nevermind, it doesn't really effect me.

Is the attack update tomorrow?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

The way I calculate rebellion is (number of humans/number of undead) * 0.5 = the chance that your humans will revolt. You had 3 human units, and 3 undead units. So you have a 50% chance of a revolt. You were unlucky, and they revolted.

100 corpses per new t1 unit.

a70c7.png

Okay I train 5 new humans, and 5 new zombies.

Sorry I only saw the map on the post :P.

lol, Imma just slaughter all but 1 human unit every time I advance, and try to keep a 1 vampire 2 zombie hold over em. >:]

Units: 2 humans 3 zombies 3 vampires 1 mummies

Corpses: 450 (after deducting food from my 1100 and annual 10% decrease off the remaining 500)

Hmm, I think this game is going to have a low number of units lol

You still gotta feed your units from last round, but you gain some from your humans this round.

If you manage to get control over enough humans, you can get a crapton of units. Considering that a t1 human unit produces 50 corpses/year, and that higher tier human units would produce even more...

a70c7.png

Hmm. Guess I just have to manage to keep a hold of my humans from now on, lol.

How many corpses does it cost to raise a unit to t2?

A t2 unit costs 50 corpses, and gives the following:

+1 to any stat that was at 3

+0 to any stat that was at 2

*0.5 to any stat that was at 1

+1 to all stats regardless

+50 corpses/year needed to maintain

+5% to positive occurrences

+2.5% to neutral occurrences

-5% to negative occurrences

In the order of that list. Of course, those are for the undead units. Human units are different - they can only be upgraded with time.

a70c7.png

Going to upgrade 1 vampire unit to t2 and declare it the Council of Affairs. Moving all units except mummies and 1 zombies to my new city.

Units: 2 humans 3 zombies 2 vampires 1 mummies 1 t2 vampires

Corpses: 400

Costs 50 corpses going from t1 to t2. You still have to have the unit in the first place.

Plus higher-tier units use up more corpses.

And I did a year-update, meaning people got some extra corpses from their human armies as well..... Oh screw it, I'll just have to go thread diving.

a70c7.png

no, how mant corpses do we start out with, so i can check my corpse count!

Corpses: 400

Council of Affairs (t2 vampire unit), 1 mummies and 1 zombies remain in capital. Others are in my new city (4 undead units altogether). 1 of my 2 human units is trafficed to my capital for work.

I'll try to keep my units updated every post :P

EDIT: Earth we start with 1000

Units

5 Humans

5 Zombies

6 Vampires

All T1, and no corpses.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

okay, so 5 vamp units eat up 750.. i got 400 from the humans i had and got.. so.. i have... 650?.. i guess i use 250 corpses to promote all my vamps to tier 2 vampires.

so.. current army:

5 t2 vamps

3 t1 humans

Corpses: 400

Because with the initial corpse-count and human units giving extra corpses, I don't know if you guys know entirely how many corpses you have XD
