I offer the Russian nobles hospitality in Britain, they're offered provinces all over the world, and treated as a respectable noble rather than what the Russians treated them as.

 

The hell I just realised my avatar was removed.... I spent ages resiszing it and checking it to make sure it fit in the specs, that's just [developmentally delayed]ed.

Yeah that's kinda the point of it. By using latin I remove all favoritism to one group or another (well aside from the clergy) and set everyone upon an equal playing field. I also avoid the troubles that faced the German troops in WWI (the different dialects played hell with organization if I remember correctly).

On the plus side, nobles know that there is a physcopath on the loose, so if Russia invades anyone there will be an army of 30 million, noble paid for, troops on our side.

The peasants which I had trained in my schools are now administrators. They are dispatched throughout the lands (with bodyguards) to extend the control of the central government to the outlying provinces. Any loyal nobles, who are nice to the peasants and share my viewpoints, are promoted within the government, taking power in administrative duties for the central government. Schools are set up using the profits that would've been going to the nobles, and the peasants are informed that the harder they work, the more money can be used to build schools and clinics for them.

 

Meanwhile, the Bourgeois are invited to come into Russia. The salespitch is that we have been freed from noble oppression and greatly value those who make their wealth fairly through industry and commerce.

Retech you're the first pseudo modern state that just got half it's budget ripped out of its ass whilst keeping technology malus :P Hmm would it be worthwhile to set up a state run police force as well(so as to avoid anarchy when I piss my nobles off)?

Prussian King falls out of his chair in hysterics at Cathys ludicrous attempts to run a country with people trained by people who, only a half year later, fought a war to overthrow her.

He is kept on the floor in hysterics by reports that she is inviting these same people back into her country, and encouraging them to skim the fat off the leanest calf you ever did see.

Indeed, if only Cathy had announced an International, then perhaps she would have killed the Prussian King through laughter then and there.

They weren't trained by the nobles. Probaly by the Bourgeosie. As I recall, there was quite a deal of contention between the aristocracy which garnered its wealth through land and the Bourgeosie which garnered its wealth through industry and commerce.

 

Intellectuals and the Bourgeosie are encouraged to come to Russia, where there is no oppression from the nobles and a great enviroment for business. Moscow shall be the beacon of freedom, commerce, industry, and science!

 

 

 

Peasant communities are encouraged to come together and begin civil projects in their areas, intensively farming and raising livestock. They are told that since the nobles are gone, they have to work together to build a life for themselves, with the help of the imperial government.

If I remember correctly, and I do, Russian Bourgouise developed around 109 years after the present, with Sergei Witte leading it.

The Bourgouise, as a class, only really developed in the rest of the world from 1770-1800, as Industrialisation actually developed, largely thanks to the canel system in Britian and Steam power...

 

 

Potentially, from a historical perspective, you could create the Bourgouise...but that would take time...

It is a few decades early, but there should be no problems. It was stalled because of the napoleanic wars and conservative nobility, but I don't have either of those problems. :)

 

Basically, beginning transition into a modern society.

The countries that Russia trades with the most are protestant (on the Baltic) or Orthodox. Britain, Netherlands, Prussia, other Northern German States, possibly Sweden.

Tis the worry when you start the French Revolution 10 years early...someone else will start the Naval revolution 70 years early, and the communist revolution 150 years early...soon things snowball out of control and suddenly 900,000 strong armies are plowing through the Terran Federation as the moon is orbitally bombarded.

Yes it was close to that rocco and admittedly it would not be of all too much use for me (things took on water like a mother [bleep]er) though it would really do well on the defensive (in a calm harbor).

I'd be a little surprised if you fast colonised all of Australia without any random event like I got. Plus if you do that you wont have the money to defend against an attack XD.

Nah I mean people going 'I am invunerable'...Sort of breeds that 'If I am going to war then I am gonna have to totally destroy the other person'...and in that situation you want to be much stronger than your enemy.

Well I'm sure this war would have been secluded to Australia, I would have no intention of attacking his capital. It's be mainly naval and it would involve the two naval super powers.
