DarkWarriorX
Hey this is my first post lol, usually im a quite guy who uses these to watch but I got my first ticket tonight for none other than the above. Me and my friend are hot rod junkies age 17 and 19. He has an 85 transam/firebird and I have a 96 camaro Z28 with moded hood and chips yada yada..its a fast car..and fast looking. Now my frined in the transam/firebird thinks its cool (and it is till the point we got caught) to burn out and pull into a ''u'y'' to come back around to talk to me. So its all fine and dandy and I had to pull around to go pick up someone on the curb (we we about 100 feet from the store we work at) well about 10-20feet later i get a the flash of lights and the wave to stop the car. Well after that I showed p.o.i. and license what not ,didnt agree or disagree to burning out so I just letem write the numbers and since its my first time I didnt know what to expect so I was polite and took it like a man. now Im home and ticked off I want to have it repealed since it was my friend that got there attention Im thinking I could possibly get off fairly easy with a good story, so whats the chance or does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this one. . DaN
If your going to drive like a maniac you should do it in suburbs that have just had there roads put in thats what I used to do and the worse that could happen is id fly off the road into sand since construction haddent begun except for the roads. It was a good learning expirience in fact I owe my life to reckless driving (learn skills used to avoid accident later on) but thats another story. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002

Agreed, all it takes is a person in the wrong place at the wrong time. Unfortunately by the time the driver learns this, another life has been wasted. Peter
Well, if you broke the law, it doesn't matter who got his attention. Reckless driving is a serious offense, even though it was just a burnout. I think it's ridiculous that a burnout, in some states, gets more demerits than a DUI does. I guess if you're doing a burnout the rationale is that your care is capable of going fast, and you're proving to be difficult upon doing a burnout. Poopingman
Look, you kids are giving the tuning community a bad name. Its dangerous when young kids have such fast cars. I would call you ricers, but thankfully your cars are domestics. Just be more careful next time, I hope you learned your lesson. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
