July 29, 201015 yr Hello. Despite my name, I'm not bad at the fight caves. Just prayer switching...Anyways, carry a zammy book with you when not fighting a 90 on a 360 wave. Dragon boots for defense over snakeskin, as for your inventory... It depends a little bit on what achievements you have. You also might need a few hundred more diamond (e)'s if you're planning on using it on all the 360's. Optimal invent for me: 3 range potions, enhanced excalibur, (Perfect for when you don't want to use a brew, and it also boosts defense) a blessed spirit shield or obsidian shield if you can't afford that, 2 NORMAL restore potions(4) and 4 Saradomin brews(4) and the rest Prayer potions(4). Feel free to substitute some prayer potions for more brews if you feel necessary. Use the inventory shield against the waves with both 90's and 360's for the extra ranged defense.

July 29, 201015 yr Zammy book and snakeskin. Zammy book gives excellent prayer and attack bonus. Snakeskin has nice range attack. Melée defence from dragon boots will do next to nothing. And really, the 90 360 waves are easy unless you're under 80 defence It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. You are wrong; it's the other way around. If you fail before a certain wave, you'll have enough monsters left to get to Jad. You want to use snakeskin boots; if you do the luring correctly you shouldn't even need melee defence much. If you have one, bring a Soul Wars cape and forget about your broads (don't go running for them). July 29, 201015 yr I am a strong believer in Guthans for getting to jad. I suck at jad. Theres just so much going on at once, dealing with the healers, prayer switching, potting, etc. That is to say, I have never actually had a fire cape. However, I have no issue whatsoever getting to jad, using guthans and a rune cbow with broad bolts. Give that a go. If you want to bring a whip along with guthans, that seems just fine. Will make killing the lesser monsters a lot faster than bolts or guthan's spear. I have a feeling somebody will say that this method is outdated, but some things never go down. This is one of those things, imo.
July 29, 201015 yr Guthans is very, very slow. It's equally easy to get to Jad with the OP's setup (acp, ranger's boots and sw cape added) using a crystal bow. It has huge range, hits decently, and you don't have to worry about ammo. July 30, 201015 yr Luring is simply making the monsters go where they should, so in a place where you can safely range them. The 90/360 combined wave are the trickiest, because you can't pray on the 90's so you have to rely on luring to do them well. Although with Verac's + DFS tank ranging the 90's will barely hit at all. Don't worry about it, if you can lure, do it, but don't go looking up a guide (they make it seem harder), just follow your instincts and see what works. With your stats you got plenty of room for mistakes. Am i supposed to pray the whole time?(which prayers?) How do i know when Jad is guna change attacks? When should i start useing Diamond bolts (I have 500 of um now)? July 30, 201015 yr With range-only, you pray range on the 90's. If there is a 360, pray mage on them. That's why the combined waves are a little more of a pain, you want to get rid of the 360's fast, so I'd suggest starting with diamonds then.
