xIJakkIx
My Attack level is 30, Defence 30 and Strength 31. Woodcutting 60 and Mining 38. Those are the only skills I have really tried at. I have only just reached level 60 for Woodcutting after a very long period of time so I could do with something else to do other than the skills I have just mentioned. Preferably the skill should be easy to train (not too hard) and quite variable (not too repetitive). I am not a member so that narrows down the choice of skills I have. Can anyone help me out? :)

Amaranth_GTO
I'd recommend getting all skills to 30, just to see what you like. When you find one that you really like, stick with it!

xIJakkIx
Since you've done wc i assume you have a heap of logs? Burn em? I have around 200 Oak logs in my bank and around 15 Yew logs so I could start with the normal logs then move onto the Oaks. Thanks for the idea. Synthox
Tbh, all of those are pretty repetitive except for combat, and in f2p that's still repetitive. Your best bet is to avoid mining at all costs (recently i ground for 60, most boring weekend of my life), but train all other skills to a rank in the high scores. Having a goal really helps. You're going to hear that alot from teachers if you are still school age, actually you probably already have heard that too many times. But it works. With my goal of 99 farm i managed to get to 70, in bursts of 15ish levels. You can see in my sig that i can never focus on a skill for a while. Because of that, you get a well rounded character, and you don't get bored. But don't mine. Spare yourself the boredom. TT rewards: 2 ranger boots, Zamorak page 1 (2x), Guthix page 1, Ancient page 2 You must construct additional oak larders doors... I mean pylons Barrows: 10. Total value~22.3 mil. Ahrim Robeskirt is currently the item I have received the most.
schmuall
There's really no point in just "going for a skill". Especially for someone who is new to the game, I'd advise questing. Do all the quests you can, then work up so you're able to do all the quests in f2p. Not only will this get you a lot of skill levels but you'll also learn your way around and get to know about the lore of the world you're exploring. Have Fun! give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

Although it'd be better if there were actually quests for all the skills. :???: Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
