Training Summoning 83+

I am level 83 summoning and am looking to level it.

I have been following Silentc0res summoning guide, and am just wondering if it is outofdate.

Could anyone tell me the direction to go with each charm till 99??

But I also want to use the charms to have better beasts to use along the way.

You already have titans, use them until you can use the unicorn :P There are better familiars but you'll get them soon enough ;-)

Are you not reading what he's saying? He doesnt need a way to get more charms, he is asking what to do with the ones he already has...

 

Anyways, crimson wise, it should be granite lobbs to 85, then swamp titans to 95 then iron titans to 99, along the way you can use pack yaks, uni's whenever necessary for your own need..

 

Atleast thats the plan im using, im sure someone else can give a more detailed insight.

Barrage for charms + mage xp or cannon scarabites for charms + range xp. Looks like you need neither so pick what you like. I think the best pouch for blues would be lava titans (save them), and for crimson it's granite lobsters or saving them up until wolpertingers or something. Abyssal lurkers (if you can get abyssal charms) or bunyips for green charms. War torts for economy or barker toads for xp on golds.

If your aim is 99 summoning and you plan to wait it out till the next double exp weekend arrives (of which no date has been set), here what I plan:

 

Start: 83 summoning

 

Use peng points/effigies and if you're confident you can stash in crims easily, make granits lobster pouches.

 

Arrive at 85 summoning

 

Now you'll need crims (about 1.7k in case of exp weekend, 4k+ if normal training), forget about greens tbh, too much money for too low exp gains. You'll be making swamp titans till 89 or 95.

 

Arrive at 89 summoning

 

Now put your blue charms to use making geyser titans (highest blue charm familiar and therefore best investment for blue charms). Using the double exp weekend, let's say you should and strive for 2.2k blue charms (sources: armoured zombies/TDS/slayer). They'll get you from 89 to 95 summoning using the double exp weekend. The water talismans are gonna take abite out of your budget though.

 

Arrive at 95 summoning

 

Iron titans all the way, try to obtain 6k-7k crims, buy iron bodies now, since they buy in shifts of 100 every 4 hours (correct?).

 

If you seek for an enjoyable minigame as a distraction try doing Temple Trekking for talon charms which you will use first as the double exp weekend would start. You can choose between hardened companions on hardest route (good money, but only 3 talons if you get nail beast event), or easiest on easiest route (less money but if you get nail beast event, you'll get 5 instead of 3). Other variants are possible, but those are the extremes (the weaker the companion, the more monsters at each event).

 

Downside of it all: we have no idea when double exp weekend will occur.

I actually did Giant ents with my greens till 88, but that's just because I had them from farming in my bank. Unless you get all the stuff yourself, Hydras are cheeper.
