Hoping for at least 9% or lower in the next few months...

thats good and all... but dont go bellow 7%. you need atleast 7% to basicly live. The fat gives you energy and you really need it to protect organs.

Yeah... My overall goal by the end of next year is to stay around 8 to 8.5%... More hard work but it'll be worth it. :)

I wouldn't worry about your body fat any ways, its low enough (Heck, im 137 lbs and im only 13.5%. Thats preatty good around here for someone of my weight).. Just work on actuly being fit (unless you are), and if not that, gaining weight in muscles. Just dont overdo it.

I'm pretty fit. I don't have much stamina but I'd rather build muscle rather than be able to run for 30 minutes easily.

How do you figure your % body fat? Do you have to spend money and go to a doctor or something??

We used some little device (can't remember what it was called :x ) in P.E. to find out.

It gave me a negative number... :?

Maybe I shouldn't have just guessed at all the measurements

I'm sure my body fat is really low anyway, but it would be interesting to actually get it tested. What does this machine from P.E. look like?

Little white thing with some metal where you hold it. Sends a "micropulse" through you and measures the time it takes to come back. Kind of interesting really...

Size 16 is in kids sizes, and isn't shown in inches like adult pants are. A size 16 jeans has a waist around 25-30 inches I'd estimate.

Using your measurements of a 28 inches waist and weight of 158 pounds your body fat percentage is estimated to be 9.30 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 8.31 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

30.20%

Thats because I play sports and have wide hips :P.

My goal for next semester is to run and lose 30 pounds, which will put me at my ideal weight for my body type of 180. I've stopped playing football, so I really need to slim down. That's really not a bad weight for a 20 year old.

rather be able to run for 30 mins or more than have muscles, kinda pointless having them if u cant even use em...

Every clan has their own requirements. Take DI for instance. Be a little kid with bad grammar that likes to flame and play runescape all day and you would be accepted.

I'm kinda lazy when it comes to running

131 pounds your body fat percentage is estimated to be 8.14 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 5.37 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.
