Familiar dropping items in house.

So i'm killing steel dragons, kinda afking reading forums - check back to the screen and my tbird vanishes in 30 seconds, i immediatly tele to house, where my bird drops the invo of bones on the floor, i then glory to edge to bank invo and tele back - in which time my bones have dissapeared, in what, 15 seconds?

 

Is this a glitch?

Kinda bummed off since i lost a whole invo of bones....

Your house is not an actual 'area' in Runescape like Varrock is. If you drop something on the floor there and leave, it won't be there when you come back. I think that's because it's an instance-area, like a dungeon is in dungeoneering, but I'm not positive.

Yup as covered and story wise explained in Love Story

 

PoH exist in folded space (aka instances), when no-ones in them they don't exist. So if u drop stuff n leave ur house (and a friend aint hanging around in ur house for w/e reason) the instance ends and anything left behind vanishes

And you should have gotten a warning, if not, then one should be added. You get a warning if you drop manually for sure.
